📱 Claude AI Now on Android: But Will It Rival ChatGPT?

Anthropic just launched the Android version of its Claude app, giving you another option should ChatGPT ever let you down.

But get this- apart from trying to expand its AI chatbot to more users, Anthropic also hopes to attract more users away from ChatGPT.

And you know what? Thanks to the amazing perks packed into this app, they might just succeed.

For one, the Android version mirrors the iOS app, giving you free access to Claude 3.5 Sonnet (their top AI model) and even options to upgrade with Pro and Team subscriptions.

That’s not all!

Users can sync chats with Claude across multiple devices, upload photos and files for real-time analysis, and enjoy instant language translation.

Also, enterprise customers can now access their Claude accounts on the go!

But here’s the thing:

Despite Anthropic's bold claims that its AI capabilities are up to par with those of ChatGPT and Gemini, it's still been a tough sell to consumers.

Their iOS app didn't exactly set the world on fire compared to ChatGPT, but who knows what this Android launch could bring?

🧑‍💼 Lattice's AI Worker Debacle!

Lattice recently made headlines with a bold move: giving AI "digital workers" official employee records!

The Company’s CEO, Sarah Franklin, announced on July 9th that these digital workers would be given the full employee treatment, from onboarding and training to having their own managers — just like human employees.

However, the idea didn't sit well with many!

In a LinkedIn post, HR professional Amanda Halle pointed out that the company skipped several critical steps, while Sawyer Middeleer, ​​chief of staff at Aomni, labeled the strategy as a big miss.

And Hebba Youssef, chief people officer at Workweek, simply asked, "Why?"

Franklin tried to clarify Lattice’s rationale behind the move, even saying explicitly in one post that she’s not endorsing the personification of AI.

But by July 12th, Lattice had retracted the plan, stating that it would no longer pursue the inclusion of digital workers in its product.
