Welcome Automaters 👋
So think about this for a second: imagine asking your super-smart friend for homework help... and halfway through explaining fractions, they suddenly try to sell you a pair of sneakers?
That’s the exact future Anthropic’s warning us about. Their Super Bowl campaign—hilariously titled "Betrayal" and “Violation”—is basically one long, expensive "This is what is coming" warning.
Now, no names were mentioned, but one look at those ads and, yeah, we all know who they’re talking about. So be prepared folks, it’s officially a rap feud, just with more GPUs and fewer diss tracks.
Also: we have another treat for you today!
Go give it a watch and let us know what you think!
Here's what we have for you today
🤣 AI Super Bowl War: Anthropic Roasts ChatGPT Ads While Gemini Surges
Y’all, the AI rivalry just went from the boardroom to the living room—literally.
Anthropic dropped Two hilarious Super Bowl ads this week, and they didn't just take shots at ChatGPT, they went for the jugular. It’s the kind of high-stakes pettiness we live for, and let's just say Sam Altman is... not amused. 🤌
Here’s The Tea:
Back in January, OpenAI announced they’d start testing ads in ChatGPT for free users and their new $8/month "Go" subscribers.
The promise? Ads would stay at the bottom of the screen, be "clearly labeled." and won't interfere with ChatGPT’s responses. But Anthropic isn't having it. They’ll apparently drop a cool $8–10 million on Super Bowl slots just to show us a dystopian future where your AI assistant turns into a sleazy telemarketer.
The "Betrayal" Ads:
One ad shows a guy asking how to communicate better with his mom, and the “AI-therapist” suggests he join "Golden Encounters"—a fictitious site that apparently connects "sensitive cubs with roaring cougars." 🐯🤣
Another features a dude doing pull-ups, asks for tips and gets pitched height-boosting insoles for "short kings" instead. 👟
The killer Tagline: "Ads are coming to AI. But not to Claude”.
Altman saw the ads and, well, he lost it. He admitted on X that he "laughed" at the commercials, but then followed up with a write up that can only be described as an overcaffeinated rant calling Anthropic "dishonest" and—get this—"authoritarian." Yes, "authoritarian"... over a Super Bowl commercial.
Altman’s logic? He claims Anthropic serves an "expensive product for rich people" while OpenAI is "bringing AI to the masses."
But in Reality: Both companies offer free tiers AND have almost identical pricing. (ChatGPT: $0, $8, $20, $200 / Claude: $0, $17, $100, $200). So yeah, the "AI for rich people " argument is looking a little shaky, Sam.
Meanwhile, Google is Quietly Winning
While Anthropic and OpenAI are throwing shade, Google’s Gemini is busy eating everyone's lunch.
The Growth: The Gemini app just surpassed 750 million monthly active users. Which is a massive 100M jump in just one quarter.
The Budget Move: Google just rolled out "Google AI Plus" for $7.99/month. It’s basically the budget-friendly, ad-free option that undercuts everyone else.
The Big Flex: Alphabet just surpassed $400 billion in annual revenue for the first time, largely thanks to their AI division. 💰
Oh and, Google hasn't announced any plans to add ads for now (though knowing Google's history with ads in literally everything, we're taking that "for now" seriously).
The Bottom Line:
OpenAI thinks ads are the only way to keep AI free for the world. And honestly, they’ve got an argument there. Running ChatGPT on a global scale is no cheap business.
Still… ads inside your AI conversations? That’s a pretty wild shift for the 800+ million weekly users who’ve been living the ad-free dream. Also that talk about the ads not interfering with how ChatGPT delivers its answers? Let's be real— we’ve all seen bots go a little off-script before. So the question is: Are we really confident the AI won’t feel a tiny urge to nudge you toward swiping your card mid-thought?
Guess we’ll have to try it to know for sure. But hey, Anthropic couldn't sit still, to them, ads ruin the "trust" between you and your bot.
But fun fact: Anthropic did leave themselves a tiny escape hatch in their blog post, saying: "Should we need to revisit this approach, we'll be transparent about our reasons for doing so"
So while Claude is ad-free today... forever is a long time in AI.

🤖 AI Workout Of The Day: How to Beat the Robot Hiring Managers (With AI)
Let’s be real: Job hunting in 2026 feels like trying to beat a boss level in a game where the rules keep changing. But here’s the secret: The robots aren’t just the ones hiring you; they’re also your best chance at getting hired.
If you’re still practicing your "Tell me about yourself" in front of a mirror, we need to talk. We’ve entered the era of the AI Wingman, and if you aren’t using these tools, you’re basically bringing a knife to a laser-gun fight. (Trust me, nobody wants to be dealing with the guy with the knife.)
The Toolkit: Pick Your Fighter
The AI interview prep game has exploded, and these "big three" tools are currently eating the market:
Final Round AI: The heavyweight champ. It carries a 4.5/5-star rating and users report an average of 35% improvement in performance. It doesn’t just give you questions; it analyzes your resume + the job description to build a custom "coding gauntlet" or behavioral mock that feels terrifyingly real. (It even has a "stealth mode" for live help—use at your own risk!)
Google Interview Warmup: The "no-stress" entry point. It’s completely free and covers everything from UX design to Data Analytics. It transcribes your answers and flags your "most-used phrases" (the "likes" and "ums") .
Yoodli: Your personal speech coach. It listens to your pacing and tracks your filler words. If you start talking like a caffeinated squirrel when you're nervous, Yoodli will call you out in real-time.
The Cheat Code: Use with Caution!🤫
Some tools like Acedit offer a Chrome extension that provides real-time prompts during your actual Zoom or Teams interview. It’s like having a teleprompter that reads the interviewer's mind, listening to the questions and flashing suggested talking points based on your LinkedIn profile.
The Reality Check: While a "copilot" can help if you blank on a technical term, don't let it turn you into a script-reading zombie. Recruiters are getting good at spotting the "AI stare", y’know where your eyes are tracking text on the screen instead of looking at them.
For those on a budget, ChatGPT or Claude remains the people's champion. You can use it completely free to practice common questions, get feedback on your answers, and even conduct full mock interviews where it acts as the hiring manager.
How to Actually Nail It (The 5-Step Workflow):
Feed the Bot: Paste the job description and your resume into Claude or ChatGPT.
Prompt: "I am interviewing for this [Role] at [Company]. Based on this JD and my resume, grill me with 5 hard questions. Be mean."
Practice Out Loud: Don't just type! Use ChatGPT Voice Mode to answer verbally. Thinking an answer is easy; saying it without stuttering while a timer is ticking is where the magic happens.
The "STAR" Audit: Ask the AI to grade your answers based on the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). If your "Action" section is vague, the AI will tell you to get specific.
Level Up Gradually: Start with the easy "Tell me about yourself" stuff, then ask the AI to "Follow up like a skeptical hiring manager" to test your ability to handle pressure.
The Human "Vibe Check": AI is great for logic, but it can't tell if you're making weird hand gestures or if your background looks like a laundry hamper exploded. Ask a friend for a final check on your "vibe."
The Bottom Line: With 70% of companies now using AI somewhere in their hiring process (usually to filter you out before a human even sees your name), knowing how to prep WITH AI isn't just smart, it's becoming essential. Whether you're using the premium features of Final Round or just chatting with Claude, ten minutes of AI practice beats an hour of staring at a wall.
So go grab your resume, pick a tool, and start practicing. Your future self (the one who actually crushed that interview) will thank you.
Try this prompt structure:
Pro tip: Run this multiple times and tell the AI: “Use a different interviewer personality this time.”
You’ll get wildly different pressure styles such as: friendly, brutal, impatient, or detail-obsessed. That’s how you level up fast.
