💃 ChatGPT Can Now Read Its Responses Out Loud!

OpenAI has released a new feature called “Read Aloud.” With this feature, you can listen to ChatGPT's responses while on the go.

It works seamlessly on the web version as well as on the iOS and Android apps.

Do you remember when ChatGPT introduced its voice chat feature in September 2023? It allowed users to ask ChatGPT questions without typing.

And now, with the Read Aloud, you can also have ChatGPT read the written answers aloud. So, whether you are driving, working out, or just taking a stroll, you can now stay connected with ChatGPT without looking at your device.

If you are using the mobile app, you just need to tap and hold the text to open the Read Aloud player. Then, you can play, pause, or rewind the readout.

On the web version, you will see a speaker icon displayed below the text.

🆕 Anthropic's New AI Models: Faster, Smarter, Better!

Anthropic announced the new Claude 3 family of AI models (Claude 3 Haiku, Claude 3 Sonnet, and Claude 3 Opus).

According to Anthropic, these models perform just as well (if not better) than the leading models from Google and OpenAI.

  • They can understand text and photo inputs.

  • They can process more information and provide near-instant responses even while reading complex content (like research papers).

  • Their refusal rate on harmless prompts is significantly lower, ensuring a smoother user experience.

Opus outperformed most models in several benchmarking tests, while Sonnet is twice as fast as previous versions.

All three models can be deployed on chatbots, auto-completion, and data extraction tasks.

Opus and Sonnet are available now on claude.ai, with Haiku coming soon.
