Hello and welcome to the Automated, your AI tour guide.
Do you remember the news from a few weeks ago about an AI-generated clone of President Joe Biden's voice that was used to make calls to discourage people from voting in the presidential primaries?
Well, they've been caught!
Here’s what we have for you today:
📞 Masterminds Behind Fake Biden Calls Revealed!

It's been more than 2 weeks since those folks pulled off the fake call using President Biden's voice to discourage people from voting in the primaries!
But guess what?
The culprits behind the fake calls have been found!
Investigators have discovered that two Texas-based companies, “Lingo Telecom” and “Life Corporation,” were responsible for the 5,000 to 25,000 fake calls that began on January 21st of this year, just two days before the New Hampshire presidential primary advising potential Democratic voters not to vote in the upcoming primary election.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has since issued a cease-and-desist order and subpoenas on both companies for engaging in voter suppression.
But here's where things get even more interesting:
Reports suggest that ElevenLabs was likely the creator of the software used to make the voice clone of Biden. However, it’s nothing but speculation as investigations are ongoing.
