🤝 OpenAI Has a New Partnership Deal!

OpenAI and the developer platform Stack Overflow have announced a partnership that could bring more technical information into ChatGPT.

The Partnership gives OpenAI access to Stack Overflow's API, allowing it to tap into a treasure trove of information and receive valuable feedback from the developer community.

This feedback will help to enhance the performance of OpenAI's AI models.

For example, when you ask ChatGpt coding or technical questions, you can now expect more detailed and technical information sourced directly from Stack Overflow's vast knowledge archive.

And what’s in it for Stack Overflow, you ask?

They can now use OpenAI's large language models to enhance their generative AI, Overflow AI, which was announced last year.

Plus, they can combine feedback from their community and internal testing of OpenAI models to create more AI products for their users.

Stack Overflow says the first set of integrations will be available in the first half of the year, but they didn’t say which ones will roll out first, so stay tuned for more info.

PS: it’s important for you to know that Stack Overflow made a similar deal with Google in February.

So, whether you prefer Google or OpenAI, you're in for a treat with Stack Overflow's archive of useful information!

🆕 Microsoft’s Big New In-House AI Model!

Microsoft is reportedly working on an AI model that may challenge GPT-4 and Google Gemini!

It's called "MA-I," and it's Microsoft's biggest in-house AI model yet since its over $10 billion investment in OpenAI.

Reports say it has approximately 500 billion parameters, which makes it significantly larger than Microsoft's previous open-source models, such as Phi-3, and puts it in a similar league to OpenAI's GPT-4.

But here’s the juicy part:

The team working on MAI-1 is being led by Mustafa Suleyman, who just joined Microsoft’s squad in March after founding DeepMind — which was acquired by Google — and serving as CEO of Inflection AI.

That's a pretty impressive resume, don't you think?

MAI-1's exact role is still unknown, but we might get a sneak peek at this AI marvel during Microsoft's Build developer conference later this month.

In the meantime, read more about it here!
