 🤯 Elon Musk Diverts AI chips from Tesla to X!

Tesla (Musk’s automotive company) is supposed to be stocking up on Nvidia’s H100 artificial intelligence chips, to go from 35,000 to 85,000 by the end of this year.

But it seems Musk has other plans!

Emails suggest that Musk has directed that many of those chips go to his social media platform, X, and its AI subsidiary, xAI.

Why the switch?

Musk claims that Tesla lacked the capacity to accept the Nvidia GPUs because the company’s factory in Austin, Texas, is incomplete.

But we can't help to wonder if all this is to gain an edge in the AI race against OpenAI, Google, and others.🤔

Whatever the case, this move comes with some dire consequences.

It could delay Tesla’s acquisition of $500 million worth of processors by months and upset Tesla investors, who are counting on Musk to deliver on his promise of fully autonomous vehicles.

 💡ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity: The AI Outage Saga!

If someone told us that three major AI providers—OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and Perplexity—would all go down at the same time, we’d probably say, “Nahhhhh,” but it happened yesterday.

And the reactions online were something else!

ChatGPT was down for multiple hours and even displayed a funny message that the service was at capacity.

Since ChatGPT was down, people must have rushed to other chatbots, but alas, they were met with similar issues!

Claude’s website was also displaying an error message and told users to “try again”!

While Perplexity’s site showed the over-capacity message that would appear when the service received too many requests.

And according to some user reports, even Google's Gemini briefly went offline, but as of now, all the services are back online.

You know what else? The AI outages are not the only online disruptions!

Forbes is also reporting a zero-day spam attack on TikTok, which is currently affecting select celebrity and brand accounts, including Paris Hilton and CNN.
