Just a few weeks after Elon Musk open-sourced xAI’s Grok large language model, he’s up to something new!
He has announced that the Grok chatbot will be available to Premium subscribers on X, not just those on the Premium+ tier, later this week!
Now, you might be wondering why you should be excited about using Grok instead of other AI chatbots on the market.
Grok isn't your average chatbot. It's designed to answer questions about topics that other AI chatbots usually avoid, like conspiracies or more controversial political ideas.
Plus, it can tap into real-time data from X, giving it an edge over rivals. That’s quite something, right?
This announcement couldn’t have come at a better time for X, especially since reports show that its usage has going downhill since Musk bought the app.
So, this may just be what will prevent X users from fleeing to other platforms, such as Mastodon, Bluesky, or Instagram’s Threads.

📈 OpenAI’s Plan to Boost GPT Store Earnings!
Remember when OpenAI launched the GPT Store? It was supposed to be a cool platform where developers could create custom versions of ChatGPT and earn money from their creations, but things haven't exactly gone according to plan.
Recent reports revealed that the GPT Store has had a slow start, leaving many developers disappointed due to the lack of customers for their products.
But fear not because OpenAI has a plan!
They've decided to team up with a small group of builders to try out a new payment model.
We’re partnering with a small group of US builders to test usage-based GPT earnings. Our goal is to create a vibrant ecosystem where builders are rewarded for their creativity and impact and we look forward to collaborating with builders on the best approach to get there.

So, how will this new payment model work?
All we know for now is that builders will earn money based on the usage of their GPTs, as OpenAI says that additional details will be provided at the program’s completion.
The selection is limited to a group of US-based builders who have already created popular and engaging GPTs in the GPT Store. Also, they will not be accepting any more builders.
So, we have to wait and see how this pans out and, hopefully, get in on the action ourselves!
