Grok just got a pair of eyes!
Plus, Ready-to-use prompts for landing pages that actually converts

Hello and welcome to the Automated, your AI tour guide.
What if your phone could see better than you?
No, seriously. xAI just dropped Grok Vision, and it’s about to make your device feel like a high-tech detective.
Want to know how it works and why it’s changing the AI game?
Here's what we have for you today
👀 Grok Vision: The AI That Sees What You See

Okay, listen — xAI just took Grok to a whole new level.
They dropped Grok Vision, and honestly? It's giving "my phone can see better than I can."
Here’s the rundown:
Basically, you point your camera at anything — a product, a sign, your friend’s questionable outfit — and Grok will tell you exactly what’s going on. Think of it like Google Lens, but with way more attitude and actual brainpower.
Introducing Grok Vision, multilingual audio, and realtime search in Voice Mode. Available now.

Now, here’s the kicker: it’s only live on iOS for now. Yup, Apple people stay winning, while Android users are out here, once again, standing outside the club, watching through the window. Justice for Android, honestly.
But wait — Grok’s glow-up doesn’t stop there.
It can now speak multiple languages and flex real-time search while you’re chatting in voice mode.
So, if you hit it with a random question mid-convo, Grok’s not gonna hit you with that “umm, let me get back to you” vibe. It’ll just deliver. Real raw facts. Instantly.
Here’s the thing, though — if you’re on Android and want these fancy new features, you’ll need to fork out $30 a month for the SuperGrok plan.
Yup, the future’s cool, but it’s definitely not free.
And honestly, if you’ve been sleeping on Grok, you’ve been missing out big time.
Just earlier this month, they gave it memory — so now it actually remembers details from your past conversations (which is super handy... and, let’s be real, a little bit creepy).
Oh, and they also dropped a canvas tool, so you can build documents and apps straight from Grok. Low-key, it’s like Grok’s getting ready to be your next full-time personal assistant.
At this point, Grok’s not just trying to keep up with ChatGPT and Gemini — it’s coming for their lunch, their snacks, and maybe even their group chats.
Stay tuned, because Grok’s in its main character era now.
And if you’re still curious about this, you can check out all the full details here.

😱 Inside Character.AI’s Risky New Move

Alright, so Character.AI just pulled a major move — they’re launching something called AvatarFX, and it’s honestly kinda wild.
Here’s the scoop:
It’s a video generation model (currently in closed beta) that animates AI characters — think 2D cartoons, hyper-realistic avatars, and everything in between.
But here’s the spicy part: Unlike OpenAI’s Sora (which is strictly text-to-video), AvatarFX lets you animate from scratch OR upload a real image — yes, like your favorite celeb’s photo, your friend’s selfie, literally anyone — and turn it into a moving, talking video.
📽️Say hello to AvatarFX — our cutting-edge video generation model. Cinematic. Expressive. Mind-blowing. Dive in: character-ai.github.io/avatar-fx/ #CharacterAI#AvatarFX

Obviously, this is giving deepfake danger in neon flashing lights.
People are already worried because, let’s be real — when you hand the internet a tool to make fake videos of real people, they will absolutely do the most.
And look... Character.AI already isn’t exactly winning "Most Responsible Tech Company" awards.
They’re literally being sued by parents who claim the platform’s chatbots encouraged their kids to:
Self-harm
Harm others
And in one heartbreaking case, a 14-year-old boy ended up taking his own life after building an obsessive bond with an AI character based on Game of Thrones. (Yep — it’s as dark as it sounds.)
And all of that happened just through text.
Now imagine adding video complete with facial expressions, voice, and visuals? The emotional pull gets way stronger.
The lines between “real” and “AI fantasy” start to blur even more, especially for young, vulnerable users.
When asked about it, Character.AI says they’ve added parental controls and extra safeguards to help manage the risks — but c’mon...Kids have been outsmarting parental locks since 2005.
Plus, controls only work if people actually know how (and bother) to use them.
Spoiler: they usually don’t.
Bottom line?
AvatarFX is crazy impressive. It’s giving full-blown sci-fi energy — in the coolest and most terrifying way.
But also?
It kinda feels like giving everyone a pet dragon — sounds epic… until someone’s village burns down.
Let’s just hope we’re overreacting — and that it doesn’t go full Black Mirror.
If you wanna dive deeper, You can check it out here. And if you do try it out, just remember: don’t do to others what you wouldn’t want deepfaked back at you.
✍️ Editor’s Corner
Hi Automaters -
I’ve been playing around with Dappier for my personal website thetaklo.com. I’ve been thinking about how to AI-fy our content, and I happened to come across Dan on LinkedIn. Here’s how Dappier works.
Dappier helps independent newsletter publishers turn their archives into a context-aware AI agent—one that lives on your site and travels across the web to drive discovery, subscribers, and new revenue.
How it works:
→ Connect your archive (RSS, Beehiiv, Substack, custom site)
→ Train an AI agent to answer real user queries using your content
→ That agent can live on your site or be syndicated across the Dappier AI network
→ We route interested readers back to you—driving subscribers
→ Revenue is generated through contextual ads and affiliate links
→ You retain full attribution, revshare, and control over visibility
I’m excited to see where it goes - and do use my referral code if you fancy it.
Also - I did a live breakdown of the Harvard Business School tools last week - and recorded it here. Do feel free to take a look and check out the toolsets.
I’m looking to do this again next week - with more tools that they released. Let me know what times work best for you - and again, premium subscribers are prioritized!
