🤩 Another AI Video Tool is Here!

Ever since OpenAI introduced Sora, we've seen a flood of AI video generation tools hitting the scene.

The latest one, called “Dream Machine” by Luma, is already stirring up some controversy!

Here’s what went down:

Dream Machine is hyped as the “future of filmmaking”, which can create high-quality, realistic shots simply by typing prompts into a box.

And it all seemed to be going well until the Dream Machine-generated trailer for "Monster Camp", an animated story about furry creatures journeying to a sleepaway camp.

At around 57 seconds in, viewers notice a familiar face: Mike Wazowski from Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.

This led to questions about whether Dream Machine was trained on material that includes the Disney studio’s work or just prompted to mimic Pixar style.

But unfortunately, we won’t be getting any answers just yet!

Luma has not officially addressed the situation, and surprisingly, neither has Disney. Is it possible they haven't even heard about it yet?

Despite the controversy, Luma is forging ahead!

They’re inviting users to sign up and play with Dream Machine for free, but there are also “Pro” and other tiers that charge users fees for more features.
