💻 Microsoft Launches New Laptops with AI Copilot Key!

Microsoft just introduced its first AI PCs — the Surface Pro 10 for Business and the Surface Laptop 6 for Business.

They come with a whole lot of AI-powered features and a dedicated copilot key!

With a quick button press of the copilot key, you can use AI for tasks like planning your day, finding a document using natural text, analyzing websites or handwriting on OneNote, and more.

Oh, and before we forget, all of this comes with built-in commercial data protection, so you don't have to worry about your information getting into the wrong hands.

The two new Surface devices will hit the market in April, but only to businesses through Microsoft and its authorized resellers.

⚖️ Tennessee Has A New Law That Protects Artists!

The issue of AI voice cloning has stirred up a series of storms lately, and music artists have it worst — remember the “Fake-Drake” song incident?

It looks like something is finally being done about it, at least in Tennessee!

Just yesterday, Governor Bill Lee of Tennessee signed a new law (ELVIS Act 2024) to protect artists from AI deepfakes!

The ELVIS Act includes a person’s voice as a protected right. This means that using a person’s voice in a documentary, song, book, or other medium without permission is not allowed!

And that’s a big deal because this law is the first of its kind; the state’s old law only protected one’s “name, photograph, or likeness”.

We're rooting for more states to do the same, or better yet, for the Federal Government, but hey, this is a good start!
