🦾 OpenAI Want to Be The Key To Our Online World

OpenAI is officially testing a new feature that lets you sign in to other apps using your ChatGPT account.
Yep. You know how you’re always asked to “Sign in with Google” or “Sign in with Apple”? Well, now you might start seeing “Sign in with ChatGPT” too.
And considering ChatGPT is out here pulling 600 million monthly users, OpenAI’s clearly thinking: Why not ride this wave into every app, device, and digital corner of your life?
We’re talking shopping apps, social media platforms, personal gadgets—basically anything with a login screen.
So what’s really going down?
OpenAI quietly dropped a page on its site saying it's gauging developer interest in this whole “Sign in with ChatGPT” idea.
Think of it as the first move to turn ChatGPT from just a chatbot into a full-blown consumer identity platform. (Very techcore of them, ngl.)
Oh, and they’ve already started testing it...
Yup. Earlier this month, developers got a taste of the sign-in magic via Codex CLI (that’s OpenAI’s open-source coding tool).
With the feature, devs could connect their ChatGPT Free, Plus, or Pro accounts to their OpenAI API accounts.
And to make things a little sweeter? OpenAI handed out API credit perks because nothing says “try this” like a little financial motivation 💸
And get this: they’re not just eyeing tech bros in garages...
OpenAI’s casting a wide net. Their developer interest form is open to:
Tiny apps with <1,000 weekly users
Mega apps with 100M+ users
And pretty much everyone in between
They're even asking devs things like:
How do you charge for AI features?
Do you use OpenAI’s API?
So yeah, this isn’t just a fun side project. They’re clearly building something serious.
And if you’re wondering where all this came from...
It didn’t just appear out of thin air. Sam Altman actually hinted at this idea back in 2023. He said a “Sign in with OpenAI” feature might be on the table.
Well, now it’s 2025, and it’s not just on the table — it’s halfway into production.
The big mystery? No one knows when it’s officially dropping — or who’s already in the loop. OpenAI’s keeping that info locked down
Bottom line? OpenAI doesn’t just want to power your chatbot convos anymore — they want to be the key to your entire online world.
And if this “Sign in with ChatGPT” thing takes off? It could seriously change the way we log in, pay, and interact across the internet.
Because if millions of people start using ChatGPT to log into stuff?
Well... Google and Apple might wanna start sweating a little 😅

🗣️ Anthropic Launches Voice Mode for Claude Chatbot

Claude can talk now — literally.
Anthropic is finally rolling out a voice mode for its Claude chatbot, and honestly? It’s about time.
This new feature (still in beta) lets you ditch the keyboard and actually talk to Claude — like you're FaceTiming a brainy friend who never forgets anything and can summarize your whole meeting in two seconds flat.
With the new voice mode, you can literally:
🗣️ Chat with Claude using your voice and hear its responses in English (for now).
🧠 Catch key points on-screen while you chat.
🔁 Seamlessly switch between text and voice within the same conversation .
🎙️ Choose from five distinct voice options to personalize your experience.
🗂️ And get help with docs, images, and big ideas — like you’re brainstorming with an AI coworker.
And because receipts matter, Claude keeps track and gives you a neat summary or transcript when you’re done.
But hold up... there are some limits:
🚧 Free users get about 20–30 voice chats before hitting the usage cap.
🔒 The good stuff — like Claude syncing with your Google Calendar or Gmail — is reserved for paid users.
💼 Google Docs integration is enterprise-exclusive too. (So if you’re not swiping the company card… sorry.)
A little backstory for the curious minds:
Claude’s Chief Product Officer — yep, that’s Instagram co-founder Mike Krieger — hinted at this voice upgrade back in March during an interview with The Financial Times.
At the time, he mentioned they were in talks with Amazon (Anthropic’s major investor) and ElevenLabs (aka the voice AI pros) to possibly help build out these features.
Now, whether those partnerships are actually powering this new voice mode? 🤷♂️ Is still a mystery.
But The Bottom line is: Claude can officially talk now.
And Anthropic’s clearly ready to play in the voice chat big leagues — right alongside OpenAI, Google, and xAI.
Let’s just hope Claude doesn’t start ghosting mid-convo like Siri on a bad day. 😅

✍️ Editor’s Corner
Hi Automaters,
I just delivered my lecture at AMICAL, where I talked about all the good work in AI I’ve done over this past semester as a professor at AuA.
But not only that - it was a summary of my journey into education in the world of AI. And certainly there’s been many many lessons.
I look forward to turning those lessons and that lecture into a book this summer.
Cheers,
Tak Lo

🤖 ChatGPT Prompt Of The Day: Generate a Winning Ad Script with ChatGPT
Hey everyone! 👋
Big thanks to one of our sharp-eyed readers for the awesome feedback about our prompts. We heard you — and we’re leveling up!
From now on, our daily prompts and videos will connect more with the latest trends and shifts in your market, not just the basics. 🙌
In-fact, we’ve started weaving those fresh trends and insights right into our daily videos.
Speaking of which, today’s prompt is all about crafting a quick, catchy script that sells your product and keeps viewers hooked. Whether you’re launching something new or boosting sales, the right script grabs attention fast, tells your story clearly, and leaves your audience wanting more.
And yep, ChatGPT is your best friend for whipping up that sharp, memorable 30-second video script that’s perfectly in tune with your brand and designed to drive action.
Here’s how to deploy this effectively:
Be Specific About Your Product: Give a clear product name and a sentence or two describing what it does. The more detail you give, the better the script.
Know Your Audience: Who’s this ad for? Young professionals, busy parents, fitness junkies? Define the group so the tone and content resonate.
Clarify Your Tone: Choose a tone that matches your brand and your audience — upbeat, quirky, motivational, etc.
List Key Features or USPs: Share 3–5 standout features or benefits. These are what the script will emphasize.
Add a Clear CTA: What should viewers do after watching? “Shop now,” “Learn more,” “Download the app,” etc. Be direct.
Optional Bonus: Mention where the ad will be used (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) so the script can match platform expectations.
Here’s an example:
Act as a professional advertising copywriter. Create a 30-second animated video script for [Product Name], targeting [Target Audience]. The ad should be [Tone: e.g., upbeat, inspirational, humorous] and highlight the following features: [List Key Features or USPs]. Include a compelling call-to-action encouraging viewers to [Desired Action, e.g., 'Visit our website', 'Shop now']. Ensure the script is engaging and aligns with our brand's voice.
