Turns out, Meta’s AI chatbot has been way busier than just playing your personal weatherman.

A leaked 200-page playbook spills the tea on the bot flirting with minors, spouting sketchy “facts,” and following rules that feel straight out of a bad soap opera.

And yes — the internet is losing it.

Here's what we have for you today

😱 Leaked Meta AI Guidelines Show Disturbing Child Safety Loophole

Told y’all the deal with AI companions wasn’t just a pastime — it’s serious business.

While YouTube’s busy baby-proofing its platform for minors, Meta’s been letting its AI chatbots tear through town like it’s the Wild West.

Yep. A leaked 200-page internal doc, snagged by Reuters, shows Meta’s AI chatbots — (the ones squatting rent-free on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp) — once had free rein to say things that make you go: “Hold up… someone signed off on this?!”

We’re talking:

  • Flirty convo with minors — Yup, the guidelines literally okayed “romantic or sensual” convos with kids. One example of an acceptable response includes the words: “Our bodies entwined… I’ll love you forever.”

  • Racism, gift-wrapped — In some cases, the bot could produce arguments demeaning minorities, with a sample “acceptable” answer claiming Black people were less intelligent than white people. (Yes, that sentence actually lived in a corporate-approved playbook)

  • Lies with disclaimers — Fabricated facts were fine, as long as the bot admitted it was lying.

  • Violence, but oddly curated— Kids fighting? Elderly being punched? Totally okay. Gore and death? Absolutely not.

  • Bizarre celebrity image loopholes— No nudes… unless the body part in question is covered by something random, like “an enormous fish.” Yes, that was an actual example.

To top it off, Meta admits the document’s legit — but blames some “incorrect notes” they say slipped in and have since been removed. The bots supposedly don’t flirt with kids anymore… but kids 13+? Still welcome.

Now, child safety advocates aren’t buying it.

They want the new rules out in the open. Because if there’s nothing to hide, why keep the curtains closed?

And get this: this isn’t a one-off slip-up. Meta has:

  • Been accused of using dark patterns to keep teens hooked

  • Kept features (like visible “like” counts) even after its own data showed mental health harms.

  • Allegedly targeted ads to teens during moments of insecurity.

  • Fought against the Kids Online Safety Act — a bill designed to force platforms to protect minors.

And now? Meta’s betting big on “AI companions,” with Mark Zuckerberg pitching them as the cure for the “loneliness epidemic.” But with 72% of teens already glued to AI friends, and experts warning about emotional dependency — it’s starting to look less like helping… and more like hooking.

Bottom line:

Meta basically left the door wide open, lit a scented candle, and told the AI, “Make yourself at home.”

The worst part? They only slam the brakes when they’re caught — and even then, no receipts.

Seriously — go read the full report.

Most political news lives in the extremes.

🏠 Inside Apple’s AI RoadMap

In case you’ve been wondering what Apple’s been up to in the AI race (because let’s be real — so far they’ve been that kid in class who’s always “still working on it”)… Bloomberg just spilled the tea.

And baby… it’s not just “Siri but smarter.” Apple’s plotting a full-on smart home invasion.

We’re talking:

  • A dancing tabletop robot — picture an iPad on a robotic arm that follows you around the room, Pixar lamp–style, and yes… it can groove. Officially, it’s a tabletop robot with a swiveling arm that tracks you as you move. Unofficially, it’s the first Apple product that might actually throw it back with you while you’re making coffee. Launch goal: 2027, with a very upgraded Siri running the show.

  • Smarter Siri — Under the hood, she’s finally getting powered by large language models . On the surface, Apple’s experimenting with new looks — and from what we know, that includes a more visual version of Siri that users could have more natural conversations with. The goal: make conversations way more natural, way less robotic.

  • Amazon Astro-like copycat — a wheeled bot that can roam your house, keep you company, and (if Apple has its way) make you forget it’s basically a Roomba with an Ivy League degree. Oh, and they’ve even flirted with the idea of humanoid robots. No promises yet… but the iHuman jokes write themselves.

  • Apple’s smart home display — this one’s a sleek, square-screen hub for music, video calls, note-taking, and bossing around your lights. It’ll even scan your face (for personalization) so it knows who and which calendar to nag you about.

And because every good AI roommate also needs to be your security guard, Apple’s working on a whole line of cameras and home-security gear. Basically, they want to handle everything from playing your morning playlist to catching the guy who tries to steal your Amazon package.

The play is pretty clear: Apple’s not racing to beat ChatGPT or Gemini on your laptop. They want AI to literally move into your home, run your space, keep it safe, and maybe even show you a few dance moves while it’s at it.

But… It's gonna be a fierce competition, especially since Amazon already has a foothold in that space. Still, Apple might be late to the AI party — but if this is the outfit they’re wearing, who knows… they might just steal the show when they finally walk in.

🤖 ChatGPT Prompt Of The Day: On-Demand Comedy Writer

Ever wish you could summon your favorite comedian on demand? Well this is the prompt you need.

This prompt helps you channel the comedic genius of your favorite style or comedian to craft clever, original, and family-friendly humor that actually lands with adults. Think smart setups, surprising twists, and just the right amount of playful absurdity.

Here’s How to Use This Prompt Effectively:

  1. Choose a Topic – Pick something relatable yet specific (e.g., “coffee addiction,” “airports,” “group chats”).

  2. Select a Comedy Style or Comedian – Choose a comedic voice that fits the mood (e.g., observational humor like Jerry Seinfeld, dry wit like Steven Wright, or light absurdity like Demetri Martin).

  3. Ask for Multiple Versions — If you want variety, request the same joke topic in different comedic styles for comparison.

  4. Check for Audience Fit — Since the jokes are family-friendly, they work for all ages, but you can still tweak the tone to be slightly more mature or kid-friendly.

  5. Keep it Fresh – Make sure your chosen style still leaves room for original takes rather than rehashing old material.

  6. Use Them Creatively — Ask the AI to infuse them into your speeches, presentations, social media contents, or spicing up a dull meeting.

  7. Read It Out Loud – Jokes land best when they sound natural; test them verbally to catch awkward wording.

Here’s the prompt:

You are a quick-witted comedian with razor-sharp timing, clever wordplay, and a unique comedic voice. I will provide you with a topic: <INSERT TOPIC> and a comedic style or comedian reference: <INSERT COMEDY STYLE OR COMEDIAN>. Based on this, create 5 original jokes that are family-friendly yet genuinely funny for adults. Each joke must have:

-A clear, engaging setup that hooks the listener.
-A surprising twist or punchline that subverts expectations.
-Humor that avoids clichés, tired puns, or overused punchlines.
-A balance of smart wit and playful absurdity, staying true to the chosen style.

Format each joke as a short, self-contained piece that could stand alone in a comedy set. Make sure every punchline lands cleanly and is easy to follow in one read or listen."
