The AI will seamlessly weave that character into your prompts, generating custom content based on that character reference while keeping the characters' faces similar across the images created.

While this feature, also known as "cref " is still in its testing phase, the company advises that users stick to AI-created characters rather than using real people or photos.

But that hasn't stopped some adventurous users, though! One YouTuber even used the feature to create multiple images of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.

This right here, brings our attention to all the ways this new feature can be abused.

It could definitely make it even easier for bad actors to make even more convincing deepfakes.

Also, pulling character references from artists' work could pose copyright issues should users try to commercialize or publish their Midjourney creations. So, don’t say you weren’t warned!
