🤯 Access to OpenAI's Sora Leaked!

OpenAI’s text-to-video tool, Sora, is making headlines—but not for the reasons anyone, least of all OpenAI, would’ve expected.

In a surprising twist, a group of beta testers allegedly leaked early access to Sora in what they call a “protest” against OpenAI's exploitative “free labor” practices.

Yes, you heard that right!

They claim the company has been enlisting artists to fine-tune Sora without offering a dime in compensation. Yikes!

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

These testers also claim to have been caught in a web of "art washing," asserting that OpenAI leverages their creativity to lend legitimacy to Sora while pocketing billions in funding!

And get this: OpenAI supposedly mandates that all content created with Sora must receive prior approval from their team before it can be shared.

One tester even highlighted the irony of artists being asked for feedback in exchange for nothing, all while OpenAI boasts a jaw-dropping $150 billion valuation!

But on a more exciting note, the leaked materials that appeared on Hugging Face offered a tantalizing glimpse of Sora’s breathtaking capabilities.

Early reports suggest that the videos generated were strikingly similar to OpenAI’s official demos.

However, the fun didn’t last long.

OpenAI swiftly cut off access within three hours, leaving many to wonder if it's really a matter of safety or just a case of corporate control.

As for the legitimacy of the leak?

OpenAI isn’t confirming any details but insists that beta testing is entirely “voluntary” with no obligation to provide feedback or usage of the tool.” —a rather fancy way of saying “unpaid,” if you ask me.

Meanwhile, Sora’s release date keeps slipping further away.

OpenAI executives blame the delays on safety concerns, election impacts, and apparently the massive computing power required to run it.

So, for now, we wait. But honestly, with all this drama, isn’t Sora already proving to be way more entertaining than any AI-generated video could ever be?

Anthropic just made Claude, their AI assistant, way more personal — you can now customize how Claude responds to you with custom writing styles.

Whether you’re in the mood for something formal, short, and sweet or need an extra dose of detail, Claude’s got you covered.

There are now three new preset styles for you to choose from:

  • Formal (for when you need to sound polished and professional),

  • Concise (perfect for when you’re in a hurry and only need the essentials),

  • Then there’s Explanatory (ideal for when you need to dive deep into a topic).

But here’s the kicker— if any of these don’t quite fit the bill, you can upload your own writing samples and teach Claude to match your exact tone.

So, if you like to sound like a charming, witty genius (I mean, who doesn’t?), Claude will learn to keep up.

The best part is that you can set it and forget it. So, every time you interact with Claude, it’ll be just how you like it.

While Anthropic isn’t the first to offer this (with OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini already in the game), it’s great to see Claude catching up and making it easier to avoid those awkward AI moments and less obvious when you’re using Claude to create different types of content.
