Welcome Automaters, 👋
Guess what?! AI bots are taking over stock picking!
Yes you read that right, Wall Street is quietly letting machine-learning bots hold the steering wheel.
A brave handful of fund managers are betting that fully AI-driven ETFs can crunch market data faster, smarter, and without messy human emotion. We’re talking total robot autonomy, from deep research to final stock selection.
While fully autonomous AI funds currently manage a tiny $30 million out of the massive $17 trillion ETF universe, the early results are genuinely wild. Here are some we found:
High Conviction US Equity (HIAI.Z) is Up 2.7% since August, beating the S&P 500’s 1.1% gain.
FinQ Large-Cap AI (AINT.P) rocketed a mind-blowing 25.35% since February (leaving the S&P’s 11% in the dust!).
Pictet’s AI-Enhanced US Equity ETF (PQUS.P) nabbed $163 million in assets while posting a cool 14.8% gain compared to 11.4% for the S&P 500.
Pacer S&P 500 3AI Top 100 (PSAI.Z) surged 10.34% since May, nearly doubling the S&P’s 5.8% gain, while its global sister fund, Pacer S&P World 3AI Top 100 (WDAI.Z) jumped 10.33%.
So, why isn't everyone jumping in?
Advisers remain totally spooked by high fees and zero long-term track records. As one fund manager put it, AI is like airplane autopilot: sure, it can fly the plane, but would you really board a flight with no pilot in the cockpit?

🕵️ How Recruiters Catch Candidates Using AI During Live Video Interviews (and How to Use It Ethically)

The hiring world is currently in total chaos! In fact, candidate cheating during job interviews just reached a record high, and AI is officially taking center stage as the ultimate co-conspirator.
Here’s what’s Happening:
The UK’s Institute of Student Employers (ISE) dropped their annual survey, and the numbers are absolutely wild. A massive 92% of employers suspect or have flat-out caught candidates pulling funny business during the hiring process. For context, that’s up from 85% last year and 78% the year before.
People are getting bold, folks!
So, how are job seekers pulling off these digital heists? Let's look at the breakdown of what employers are actually catching:
Secretly using AI during live interviews: 66% of employers caught this red-handed (the absolute undisputed champion of bad decisions)
Using AI on online assessment tests: 47% of recruiters spotted this sneaky move
Using AI for application answers, CVs, and cover letters: 10% of employers flagged suspicious responses.
And how are hiring managers catching people in the act? Chris Morrow, who runs the Manchester recruitment agency Digitalent, revealed that some rogue apps listen in live on video calls and feed candidates real-time answers.
The immediate giveaway? Candidates sound like they're reading verbatim off a clunky, robotic teleprompter!
Here are the dead-giveaway clues recruiters spot instantly:
Awkward, unnatural pauses while the chatbot processes the question and generates a script
Suspicious filler lines like "Oh, that is a fantastic question..." while frantically skimming the screen
Super stiff, overly academic vocabulary that literally no human being uses in casual conversation
Morrow’s signature move? He ends those interviews right on the spot.
Now, ISE Chief Executive Stephen Isherwood stepped in with a reality check: According to him, trying to fake your way through an interview usually backfires. Even if you manage to fool the system, you will end up stuck in a position you’re completely unqualified for!
His advice? Research the company like you’re speed-running your favorite video game. Know the lore before you hit play.
And get this: Despite the chaos, graduate hiring is actually holding steady. According to the survey: Hiring is Up 4% this year (rebounding from an 8% dip) and projected to jump another 7% next year
Isherwood points out that any recent hiring cutbacks stem from a tough broader economy, not artificial intelligence taking over. So the scary "AI is replacing all our jobs" panic is still at least two to three years away.
How to Actually Use AI (Without Getting Blacklisted)
Look, AI is not the enemy here! It’s all about how you leverage it. If you want to use modern tools to boost your job hunt without setting your career on fire, keep these rules in mind:
Check the house rules first. Every company handles AI differently! Some employers love it, while others will instantly reject your file if they spot unapproved usage.
Use AI as your co-pilot, not your ghostwriter. Let chatbots handle structural outlines, brainstorming, or proofreading. The actual substance, personal voice, and lived experiences must come directly from you.
Bring real, unshakeable enthusiasm. Employers want to know why their specific organization excites you! Be prepared to explain your genuine interest and highlight skills you can actually back up in real life.
Treat your authenticity like a superpower. The real, unscripted you will always beat a generic chatbot script! Candidates who combine smart tool usage with honest self-reflection, unique personal insights, and real story examples are the ones who actually land the offer.

🤖 AI Workout Of The Day: How to Summon Your Very First Dots In ChatGPT

If you’ve been following the news circle, then you’d know that OpenAI just officially introduced Dots, an always-on, digital minions that work for you in the background even when you’re completely away from your desk. Running on dedicated cloud instances with their own web browsers, these agents are built to handle both soul-crushing routine tasks and complex, multi-month projects.
And we made you a quick step-by-step guide to summoning your very first agent, followed by the main takeaways you need to know. Here you go:
Launch on Desktop: Open the ChatGPT desktop app or visit the ChatGPT website using your PC browser. (Note: Setup isn't supported on mobile apps or phone web browsers yet!)
Personalize Your Agent: Follow the onboarding prompts to assign your Dot a cute name and a cutesy custom appearance.
Master the Summoning Command: To call your agent into action, simply type @yourname-agentname in your chat. If you skipped giving it a unique name, it defaults to @yourname-dot.
Take It Mobile: Once created, you can seamlessly converse with your Dot on the ChatGPT mobile app.
Connect Your Tools: Dots support over 4,000 app plugins. Head to your Dot's profile menu, click Customize ➔ Plugins, select your desired app, and approve the permissions.
The Fine Print & Key Takeaways:
Dots are strictly a paid feature right now. To even look at a Dot as a consumer, you need a ChatGPT Pro plan. Those start at a cool $100 per month, but OpenAI casually introduced $200 and $500 per month tiers right alongside it.
If you're on Free, Go, or Plus tiers, or live in the European Union, UK, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Switzerland, you're locked out for now. OpenAI hasn't said a peep about when or if cheaper tiers will ever see these agents.
Important Note: Your first Dot is technically included with your Pro or Business Premium subscription. But OpenAI is already planning to charge extra for additional Dots down the line. They also plan to let you buy extra output power to increase your Dot's speed or monthly workload cap. (Exact pricing for those add-ons is still under wraps!) but here’s what we know:
OpenAI is giving everyone "extended limits" for the first month.
Talking or texting your Dot through ChatGPT is completely free and won't count against your plan allowance.
The Catch: Any actual work your Dot performs on your behalf, whether it's running tasks through Codex, using ChatGPT Work, or browsing the web autonomously—directly burns through your monthly limit.
The Verdict: The fact that OpenAI casually rolled out a $500 per month Pro tier on the exact same day they announced Dots is not a coincidence. These agents are token monsters! If you plan to delegate your work to a Dot, keep a hawk-eye on your usage this month before the metered limits kick in!
