Hello and welcome to the Automated, your AI tour guide.
The US government is asking AI developers to submit the safety test results for their product before releasing it to the public.
But guess what? As it turns out, the government isn't even prepared for this crucial step.
Here’s what we have for you today:
🆕 New Developments in AI Safety Regulations!

Have you ever had that awkward moment in class when your teacher asks you to present your project to the entire class?

Sounds intense, right?

But how will they be graded? I mean, there should be a grading system for the safety test results, right?
Well, we did some digging, and it turns out that they're still figuring it out!
While the safety test categories have been outlined, there are no common standards that companies are obligated to comply with just yet. But it seems like the National Institute of Standards and Technology is currently developing one.
