🚨 AI ‘Undressing’ Websites Under Fire!
San Francisco's City Attorney, David Chiu, has launched a landmark lawsuit against 16 AI-powered ‘undressing’ websites.
These websites allow users to upload images of clothed individuals and then digitally “undress” them using AI tools — without their consent!
One site even has the audacity to advertise:
“Imagine wasting time taking her out on dates when you can just use [the redacted website] to get her nudes.”
Unbelievable, right? But it gets worse — These sites have racked up over 200 million visits in just the first half of 2024!
Think about how many people have been victimized so far.
Remember the Taylor Swift deepfake scandal? Even kids are getting caught up in this mess, with students being expelled or even arrested for sharing AI-generated nude photos of their classmates.
Fortunately, San Francisco is taking some action to end it!
Their lawsuit accuses these sites of violating state and federal laws against revenge, deepfake pornography, and child pornography, as well as California’s unfair competition law.
And they’re seeking civil penalties but also that these sites be shut down and permanently prevented from creating future deepfake pornography.
This is going to be one interesting lawsuit, for sure!

❌ OpenAI Shuts Down Election Manipulation Plot!
What we feared the most is happening, folks!
A group of troublemakers has been caught red-handed trying to manipulate the upcoming U.S. presidential election using ChatGPT.
Here's what happened:
OpenAI announced in a blog post that it had to ban a cluster of ChatGPT accounts linked to an Iranian influence operation.
These accounts were churning out AI-generated articles and social media posts aimed at swaying public opinion and sowing discord among voters.
However, thanks to some help from Microsoft Threat Intelligence, OpenAI identified the culprits as Storm-2035.
These guys went so far as to create five fake news websites that looked deceptively like legitimate progressive and conservative outlets, complete with legit-sounding names like "evenpolitics.com."
They used ChatGPT to craft long-form articles, including one that falsely claimed “X censored Trump’s tweets”—which, let’s be honest, couldn’t be further from the truth.
On social media, Storm-2035 ran a dozen X accounts with an Instagram account, using ChatGPT to rewrite and spread politically charged, misleading comments.
Their aim wasn’t to back one side against another but simply to create division and chaos.
One tweet, for instance, falsely alleged that Kamala Harris attributed increased immigration costs to climate change and tagged it with “#DumpKamala.”
Confusing, right? But here’s the silver lining:
Most of these posts were plainly snubbed, and none of them received likes, shares, or comments.
However, what's alarming is how quickly and easily these operations can be set up using AI tools like ChatGPT.
And the truth is, as we approach the 2024 election, we can expect more of these attempts to influence voters, but while OpenAI is on high alert, we should also be.
Let's not easily believe everything we see and not react without thinking twice.
You can read the entire article here—trust me, there’s much more to uncover!
