Google DeepMind just dropped a 145-page deep dive on AGI safety, and let’s just say—they’re not exactly optimistic.

According to their report, AGI—AI that can do pretty much anything a human can—could arrive by 2030.

And when it does?

Well… they’re tossing around phrases like “severe harm” and “existential risks” (a fancy way of saying it could literally wipe us out). No big deal, right?

DeepMind didn’t hold back on its rivals either.
