Welcome Automaters, 👋

If you spent the last year doom-scrolling through think-pieces claiming AI chatbots would wipe out mobile apps forever, I have some news: The apps are winning!

Yup, It turns out the rumors of the mobile app’s death were, shall we say, grossly exaggerated.

New data from Appfigures just dropped, and it’s a total reality check. Worldwide app releases in Q1 2026 jumped 60% year-over-year across both the Apple App Store and Google Play. And on iOS specifically? A jaw-dropping 80% increase.

If you thought that was just a seasonal fluke, think again. April 2026 is going even harder, with total new app releases up a staggering 104% compared to 89% on iOS we had this time last year.

Even Apple’s Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing, Greg "Joz" Joswiak, is having a laugh at the haters. He recently quipped that the reports of the App Store’s death "may have been greatly exaggerated."

So, what is fueling this madness?

The working theory is that AI-powered "vibe coding" tools like, Claude Code and Replit, have officially democratized development. Meaning, you no longer need a CS degree to build something cool. People who have never written a single line of code are now shipping their own apps.

The leaderboard is shifting, too:

  • Productivity apps have officially cracked the top five for the first time.

  • Utilities have surged into the number two spot.

  • Lifestyle apps have climbed to third.

  • Health and fitness round out the list.

Mobile games still, of course, hold the crown, but the throne room is getting very crowded.

The Plot Twist

Of course, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. A flood of new apps means massive pressure on review systems, and let’s be real; not every "vibe-coded" app is going to play by the rules.

So yeah, we're about to see a whole lot more apps, which means a whole lot more problems. But for now? The app economy is officially having its main-character moment.

So tell me, are you planning to jump on the "vibe coding" train and build your own app, or are you just here to watch the chaos unfold from the sidelines?

🤩 Claude Design Launch: Anthropic's New AI Tool Turns Words Into Stunning Visuals Instantly

Anthropic just dropped Claude Design, and honestly? We’re obsessed.

While it was first announced last Friday, Claude Design, is a brand-new experimental product that turns your wildest ideas into professional prototypes, slides, and one-pagers.

According to Anthropic, it’s specifically built for founders and product managers who have great ideas but zero design background. You just describe what you want in plain, simple English, and you get the first version instantly, from there, you can tweak, adjust, and finesse it until it’s perfect.

For example; you can tweak the font size, swap the colors, or say "add a dark mode toggle" and it updates instantly.

And yes, we all know the question on everyone’s mind: Is this coming for Canva?

Anthropic told TechCrunch that it’s actually meant to complement Canva, not replace it. For them, once you whip up a slick presentation or prototype in Claude Design, you can export it as a PDF, URL, PPTX file, or even send it straight into Canva. From there, it becomes fully editable and collaborative. Teamwork makes the dream work, or so they say.

But hey, between the tweaking, the exporting, and the real-time editing Claude Design already handles on its own, one has to wonder how often anyone will actually feel the need to make that trip to Canva. Just saying.

And in case you're wondering, yes the tool is also smart enough to know your brand

Claude Design can apply a team's existing design system to every project it creates, keeping results consistent with the company's overall visual style.

It pulls this off by reading a company's codebase and design files. Basically, it learns your brand rules and follows them every single time.

Who actually gets to play with this?

This isn't just some vague concept; it’s powered by Claude Opus 4.7. And it’s currently available in research preview for all Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers. So if you’re already paying for one of those plans, go check your dashboard, your new favorite toy is waiting.

Finally, Skincare That Boosts NAD+ At the Source

For decades, skincare has focused on aesthetic results. But we started by asking a different question: what if instead of trying to preserve our skin's youth, we prioritized optimizing our skin's function? That's how Aramore’s  NAD+ skincare was born.

Developed by Harvard & MIT scientists, Aramore is a skincare system based on skin’s performance, not just its appearance. NAD+ production slows down significantly as we age, and this causes all the telltale science of aging.

Aramore is the only skincare formulated to help skin produce NAD+ like much younger skin would. The result? Skin that’s stronger, firmer,  and more resilient, that not only looks better, but stays healthier over time.

🤖 AI Workout Of The Day: AI-Powered Job Search Strategy Guide

Finding a job can feel like a full-time job in itself, you have to handle applications, networking, interviews, and constant rejections . But what if you had a strategist in your corner who mapped it all out for you step by step?

That’s exactly what this prompt does. Think of it as your personal career GPS: you set the destination (your goals), and it charts the smartest route to get you there.

Here’s How to Use This Prompt Effectively

  • Be specific about your goals. Share your target role, industry, and the type of companies you’re aiming for (e.g., startups, corporate, remote-first).

  • List your skills & experience. Highlight your top strengths, certifications, and recent work experience so the AI knows what to showcase.

  • Be specific about your challenges. If networking intimidates you, say so. If tailoring resumes takes too long, mention it. This helps the AI craft a more targeted strategy.

  • Run the prompt multiple times. Each run can give you a slightly different roadmap—mix and match the best parts to create your ultimate plan.

  • Turn advice into action. Use the AI-generated outreach templates, tweak resume suggestions, and try interview tips in real-world applications. The magic happens when you apply the ideas.

  • Iterate as you progress. Once you’ve ticked off one phase (say, resume optimization), come back and ask for an updated plan for the next stage.

💡 Prompts to try:

Act as my job search strategist. I will describe my career goals, skills, and preferred industries. Your task is to generate a personalized, step-by-step action plan for my job search. The plan should include:

-The best job boards, platforms, and hidden resources for my industry.
-Smart networking strategies (LinkedIn, events, cold outreach messages, alumni connections).
-Detailed guidance on customizing my resume & cover letter for each application (with examples of phrasing or formatting).
-Tips and practice frameworks for standing out in interviews, including sample questions and how to answer them.
-A clear timeline and roadmap format, broken down into daily/weekly actions I can follow.
-Encouragement and mindset advice to stay consistent and motivated.

Please ensure the plan feels both strategic and actionable—something I can start using right away.
