🚫 Procreate’s Bold Stance on AI!
Procreate, an iPad illustration app, is taking a different path amidst the AI craze.
CEO James Cuda recently declared in a video posted to X that the app will not introduce generative AI into its products!
We’re never going there. Creativity is made, not generated.

Why such a bold decision?
Well, with the rise of AI, many artists have voiced concerns about how generative AI threatens their livelihood and exploits their work without consent.
Procreate seems to share this sentiment!
In the new AI section of their website, they boldly stated that generative AI is "ripping the humanity out of things" and leading us towards a "barren future."
And according to them, this is because the technology is built on a foundation of theft.
That’s a pretty strong statement, especially at a time when AI seems to be taking over almost every industry, right?
But when it comes to illustration apps, AI might not be the future just yet!
Clip Studio Paint, a rival illustration app, stopped plans for image-generation features after its users condemned it.
Even Adobe has been criticized by those who feel the company hasn't fully supported independent artists and creators.
So, we guess Procreate is giving people what they want!
And you know what? It has earned them widespread praise from creatives online.

💃 ElevenLabs’ Reader App is Now Available Globally!
ElevenLabs has launched its groundbreaking Reader app globally, offering support for 32 languages.
We’re talking Portuguese, Spanish, French, Hindi, German, Japanese, and many more!
Now, you can upload any text - whether it's a fascinating article, a long PDF document, or a captivating e-book.
And listen to it in the language and voice of your choice, no matter where you are or what language you speak. How cool is that?😀
Oh, speaking of the voice of your choice, the app, originally launched in the US, UK, and Canada, now features hundreds of new voices.
This includes the voices of iconic actors like Judy Garland, James Dean, and Sir Laurence Olivier!
Just imagine listening to your favorite book or article in the smooth, velvety voice of James Dean. It’ll definitely be worth it! 👍
But hey, what truly sets ElevenLabs apart is its cutting-edge tech.
The company's Turbo v2.5 model, released last month, delivers seamless, natural-sounding audio that's almost indistinguishable from a human narrator.
And they're not stopping there!
They have exciting plans to add even more features like offline support and the ability to share audio snippets.
Not to mention, ElevenLabs is already powering voice interactions on cool platforms like Rabbit r1, Perplexity, Pocket FM, and Kuku FM.
So they couldn't do that badly, or could they?
