Apple will reportedly add Google Gemini to its devices as early as this fall!

This is in addition to ChatGPT, and there’s even talk of a potential deal with Anthropic down the line!

But sadly, Meta’s Llama chatbot won't be seen on Apple devices yet because, according to Apple, it isn’t good enough.

Hold up, there's more on the way!

Apple's big AI project, "Apple Intelligence," is also supposed to launch in beta this fall.

And they may roll out subscription-only Apple Intelligence features sometime in the future.

However, if you’re not planning on purchasing the iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max, this might not be your cup of tea, as the Apple Intelligence will only be available on both iPhones.

We can't help but wonder if Apple could make that big of a profit with just these two iPhones.🤔 

But then, who knows? The AI features might be good enough to drive a big iPhone upgrade cycle.

Additionally, Apple will cash in on in-app purchases from sign-ups for its AI partners’ chatbot subscriptions.

So, while we wait for Apple to roll out its AI system, we can enjoy more options and perhaps some amusing AI-generated suggestions.

📸The Latest in AI Video Detection!

AI-generated videos have become so realistic that it’s hard to tell what's real and fake, but there's a new tool in town to save the day!

Columbia Engineering researchers have developed DIVID (DIffusion-generated VIdeo Detector), a tool that can detect AI-generated videos with 93.7% accuracy.

It reconstructs a video and then compares the newly reconstructed video against the original video.

If there are significant differences, the original video was likely created by humans. If not, it was likely made by AI.

This process is what it calls DIRE (DIffusion Reconstruction Error)!

And before you ask if it really works, it’s been tested with diffusion-generated videos from Stable Vision Diffusion, Sora, Pika, and Gen-2 to achieve that impressive 93.7% detection accuracy.

The only downside is that it is a command line tool that can only be used by developers for now.

But the researchers see big things for the future!

They believe that DIVID could be integrated into Zoom to detect deepfake calls in real time! Wouldn't that be great?
