Hello and welcome to the Automated, your AI tour guide.

Dating apps can be a brutal battlefield—awkward first messages, ghosting, and let’s not even talk about the horrors of ā€œheyā€ as an opener.

But what if you could practice your flirting game before diving into the real deal?

Well, Tinder just launched something that could either make or break the dating game forever.

Here’s what we have for you today:

  • 😃 Tinder’s Surprising (And Slightly Controversial) New AI Feature.

  • 🦾 The AI Models People Are Obsessing Over.

  • šŸ’¼ 8 easy ways to use ChatGPT to make your small business more efficient.

  • šŸ‘‰ Beyond ChatGPT: 3 AI tools that will help you.

  • šŸ¤– ChatGPT Prompt Of The Day: Task-Specific Optimization.

😃 Tinder’s Surprising (And Slightly Controversial) New AI Feature.

Think you’ve got game? Tinder wants to put that to the test—with an AI.

The dating app just launched The Game Game, an AI-powered flirting simulator where you practice your rizz on a chatbot.

And no, this isn’t some elaborate April Fool’s joke (though the timing is highly suspicious).

Powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4o, the game throws you into hilariously over-the-top rom-com scenarios—like a dramatic airport luggage mix-up or the classic whoops, I just crushed your sunglasses on the beach.

Your job? Flirt your way to victory.

Here’s How It Works:

  • The AI makes the first move. You respond in real time with your voice, attempting to charm the bot into setting up a virtual date.

  • Then, you get instant feedback—scored with flame emojis, because of course.

  • If your game is weak, the AI gives tips. If you’re rude or boring, it politely calls you out.

  • Each Session lasts just three minutes, with a five-play-per-day limit—because, you know, Tinder still wants you talking to actual humans.

Tinder insists this isn’t some attempt to replace real relationships (this isn’t Her, okay?). Instead, it’s meant to be a fun, judgment-free way to help people practice flirting.

And honestly? It kind of makes sense.

A Forbes Health survey found that 79% of Gen Z reported dating app burnout last year. Meanwhile, Tinder’s own research shows that 64% of young singles are totally fine with a little cringe if it leads to a real connection.

Plus, let’s be real—dating is awkward. So why not lean into it?

AI-powered romance is already a thing. Apps like Blush, Rizz, and Teaser offer AI companions for users who’d rather charm a bot than deal with the chaos of real dating.

And guess what? People are using them—a lot—sometimes without even realizing it. A massive online survey (90,000+ respondents) found that:

  • 26% of people have flirted with a chatbot—sometimes unknowingly and other times for fun.

  • 60% of users have suspected (or confirmed) that they matched with a bot.

  • 90% of people want dating apps to verify if users are real humans.

So while Tinder says this is just a fun game, it’s also a strategic move. AI flirting is already happening, and this might be their way of embracing it before it takes over completely.

The Real Question is: Can AI Actually Improve Dating?

Tinder has been rolling out AI features for a while—like an AI-powered photo selector to help you pick your best pics. And soon, they’ll be adding AI tools for better discovery and matching.

But here’s the irony—AI in dating isn’t necessarily making things better. If anything, it’s making it harder to tell who’s real and who’s just a really good bot.

According to those statistics, 90% of users want dating apps to verify that people are actual humans, while 66% don’t trust that apps do enough to keep bots out.

Love, after all, is messy, unpredictable, and very human.

And while AI can definitely help people put their best foot forward (or at least pick a decent profile pic), it also raises a big question: Are we swiping toward real connections, or just getting better at talking to robots?

Because let’s be honest—The Game Game (which is now live for U.S. users) is definitely going to lead to some weird first-date stories.

šŸ¦¾The AI Models People Are Obsessing Over.

We all know ChatGPT is the chatbot king, right?

But guess what? There’s a growing squad of AI rivals gaining serious traction.

According to recent data from Similarweb and Sensor Tower, a real battle is brewing behind the scenes, and the growth numbers might just surprise you.

Let’s break it down:

  • Google’s Gemini: The underdog that’s quickly rising saw its daily traffic hit 10.9 million visits in March—a 7.4% jump from the previous month.

  • Anthropic’s Claude is trailing far behind, with an average of 3.3 million daily visits in March.

  • Microsoft’s OpenAI-powered Copilot: (talk about family drama) pulled in a modest 2.4 million daily visits, a 2.1% increase from February. It’s not there yet, but it’s definitely in the race.

  • DeepSeek’s Chatbot—China’s AI underdog—clocked a solid 16.5 million visits in March, despite a 25% drop from February.

And then there’s Elon’s xAI Grok–-the one everyone’s suddenly talking about. It’s web app launched just a few months ago, but now it’s matching DeepSeek’s 16.5 million daily visits.

And get this: it’s seen a jaw-dropping 800% surge in traffic month-over-month!

So, what’s driving this sudden interest in these rivals?

Well, these AI companies are rolling out new models and features faster than you can say "robot takeover." For instance:

  • Claude 3.7 Sonnet dropped in late February, and its mobile app saw a 21% boost in weekly active users.

  • Gemini 2.0 Flash, released around the same time, saw a 42% increase in users. No doubt these shiny new features are definitely driving people in.

Speaking of shiny new things, Google’s recently added ā€œcanvasā€ feature to Gemini (which lets users preview coding projects) is making geeks everywhere jump for joy.

As for Claude, it’s been steadily adding new tools to its app, all of which are fueling bigger user bases and faster growth for these bots.

But let’s be real: OpenAI probably isn’t losing any sleep over this. Even with the competition heating up, it still boasts 10 times the weekly mobile app active users of Gemini and Claude combined.

To put it simply: ChatGPT is flexing with an astonishing 500 million weekly active users!

So, while others are catching up, it’s clear that ChatGPT still holds the crown—at least for now.

But hey, things could get interesting real quick.
