💃 Big AI upgrade to Facebook and Instagram!

Meta is bringing some serious AI magic to Facebook and Instagram!

Remember Meta’s AI image generator, 'Imagine'? The tool that turns simple text prompts into stunning visuals?

Whether you want to spice up your feed, jazz up your Stories, or even rock an AI-generated profile pic, Imagine lets you create personalized, eye-catching images in just a few clicks.

Honestly, it’s a total game-changer for creators and everyday users because why settle for the usual photos when you can craft unique, artistic images that will stand out and grab attention?

And if you value privacy, generating an AI image for your profile pic means no more endless scrolling to find the perfect shot online.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Meta’s AI will also help you come up with the most clever and engaging captions for your stories— you won’t have to struggle to sound witty anymore!

Oh, and Messenger is in on the fun, too.

It’s getting a stylish upgrade with personalized chat themes that let you add a splash of creativity to your conversations.

Gone are the days of just changing chat bubble colors; now, with a simple tap on “Themes,” you can elevate your chats with a whole new level of customization.

And guess what else?

Meta is testing a feature that will bring AI-generated images directly into your Facebook and Instagram feeds based on your interests and trending topics.

You’ll even have the chance to remix or reimagine those photos or create brand-new content in real time—just by swiping or tapping on prompts.

Even Mark Zuckerberg is hyped about this. He’s said that Meta’s AI isn’t just powerful—it’s accessible, free, and seamlessly integrated across all its platforms.

And get this:

Meta AI is on track to become the world’s most popular AI assistant, with nearly 500 million monthly users already—and they haven’t even launched in some major markets yet!

Bottom line? Meta is doubling down on AI to make your social media experience more interactive, creative, and straight-up fun.

So, what do you think? Are you excited to see Meta’s AI on all their platforms, or do you think it’s a bit too much?

🤩 Meta's Multimodal Llama Models!

Does it seem like there’s a current AI gold rush, with new models dropping every other day, or is that just us? We don’t think so!

Google rolled out its upgraded Gemini models just this week, and earlier this month, OpenAI introduced its o1 model.

Now, it's Meta's turn to showcase its latest at its annual Meta Connect 2024 developer conference in Menlo Park.

Meta’s multilingual Llama family of models has reached version 3.2, which signifies that several Llama models are now multimodal.

The compact Llama 3.2 11B model and the larger, more capable 90B model can interpret charts and graphs, caption images, and identify objects in pictures based on simple descriptions.

For example, if you hand both models a map of a park, you’ll get answers to questions like "When does the terrain get steeper?" or "What's the distance of this path?"

Or, if you provide them with a graph of your company’s revenue over the course of a year, the models could quickly spotlight the best-performing months.

Pretty cool, right? Want to give it a try?

These multimodal Llama models are available for download and use across various cloud platforms, including Hugging Face, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS.

Meta is also hosting them on the official Llama site, Llama.com, and using them to power its AI assistant, Meta AI, on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.

However, there's a catch for European users.

They won't have access to these new models due to regulatory challenges tied to the EU's AI Act and GDPR.

Instead, other new Llama models that weren’t trained on European user data — will be launched in Europe.
