🛑 OpenAI Now Lets You Block its Web Crawler

You can now block the GPTBot crawler from scraping your website or choose to allow access only to certain parts of your site. (Here’s how).
Why does this matter:
This move signifies a crucial step towards addressing many people's concerns regarding data privacy and consent.
Although OpenAI hasn't disclosed the sources of its training data, we all kind of know. 🤪
This is truly a big move.
💃 Microsoft’s Bing Chat is Going Cross-Browser!

Microsoft’s Bing Chat would “soon” be available in third-party browsers like Chrome and Safari, both on the web and mobile devices.
But here's the inside scoop:
While you can enjoy Bing Chat on your favorite browsers, it has some limitations.
You can't have a more extended conversation, chat history, and additional Bing features integrated directly into the Edge browser.
For example, during tests, users noticed that Bing Chat in Chrome only supported five messages per conversation instead of the 30 available in Microsoft Edge.
It also limited the character count to 2,000 instead of the 3,000 supported by Edge.
An exact launch date for third-party browser support for Bing Chat was not provided, but in the meantime, you can read the Company’s announcement for more details on the upcoming features.
