👨‍💻 Anthropic Cracks Down on Claude Code Power Users

I told ya this was coming.

Anthropic’s finally putting Claude Code on a leash after months of watching a few subscribers run it like an endless caffeine drip, 24/7.

Starting August 28, new weekly rate limits are rolling out for the $20 Pro and $100–$200 Max plans to keep Claude from buckling under the weight of power users.

Turns out a tiny but mighty 5% of users have been pushing Claude to its limits—sharing accounts, reselling access, or running nonstop code sessions.

For everyone else? Anthropic swears you probably won’t notice a thing. Most Pro users will get roughly 40–80 hours of Claude Sonnet 4 a week, while Max plans ($100) stretch up to 140– 280 hours of Sonnet 4 plus 15–35 hours of Opus 4.

Go all in with the $200 Max plan, and you’re looking at 240–480 hours of Sonnet 4 with 40 hours of Opus 4. And if that’s still not enough, there’s always the option to buy extra time at regular API rates.

Oh, and in case you missed it, this all comes after weeks of Claude Code outages and what Anthropic calls “unprecedented demand.

They’re not done yet, though—there’s talk of new options for heavy-duty, always‑on workflows down the line. But for now, it’s all about keeping the lights on and the servers steady. Or, in other words: make you use Claude like a pro, not like you’re trying to set a new world record.

💪 Microsoft Edge Gets a New AI Wingman

Okay y’all, the browser wars just got spicy.

Microsoft dropped Copilot Mode for Edge, and it’s basically an AI sidekick that browses the web with you.

It figures out what you’re researching, predicts your next move, and can even take action—like turning that recipe you’re eyeing vegan or just handing you the ingredients so you can skip the blogger’s “epic life story.”

It’s still in early testing—opt‑in, free, and labeled “experimental”—but here’s what it’s packing right now:

  • A new tab command center where search, chat, and navigation run through Copilot.

  • Task mode for booking stuff, making shopping lists, or drafting content.

  • A research buddy that can, with permission, peek at all your open tabs to help with comparisons or untangle your 47‑tab rabbit hole.

  • Voice input, because sometimes typing just isn’t it.

Down the line, Copilot could even nudge you to pick up where you left off, recommending next steps on whatever you were researching.

Privacy? Microsoft swears you’re in control, with clear cues when Copilot’s “watching.” But let’s be real, the idea of flipping a switch that lets AI scan your tabs might feel a little too close for comfort.

The Big picture: Copilot Mode is Microsoft’s play for the next generation of browsing—that’s agentic, AI‑driven, and hands‑off.

But here’s the thing: will people actually hand over the wheel? Guess we’re about to find out.

🤖 ChatGPT Prompt Of The Day: Turn Any Concept Into a Magical Bedtime Story

Sometimes, the best way to explain something tricky—like how the internet works, what gravity is, or why we need to brush our teeth—is through a fun, imaginative story. Kids (and even adults) remember lessons better when they’re wrapped in adventure, magic, and characters they can relate to.

This prompt transforms any concept into a short story that's easy to understand and fun to listen to. Perfect for teachers, parents, or anyone trying to make learning feel like playtime.

Here’s How to Use This Prompt Effectively

  1. Be specific about the concept – Instead of just saying “money,” try “how saving money helps you buy something special later.”

  2. Include your audience’s age or interests – Mention if the child loves dragons, space, superheroes, etc. It helps tailor the story.

  3. State your learning goal – Do you want them to remember a fact, understand a process, or develop a habit? Make that clear.

  4. Feel free to set tone or length – You can request “funny and short,” “dreamy and slow-paced,” or even “a 5-minute read.”

  5. Use it often – This prompt works wonderfully as a series! Turn multiple lessons into a recurring storytime adventure.

Here’s the prompt:

Turn [INSERT CONCEPT] into a short story written for [INSERT THE AGE OF THE CHILD]. Use fun, age-appropriate characters (like animals, robots, or kids), introduce a simple problem or challenge related to the concept, and resolve it in a happy, imaginative way that clearly explains the idea.

Make it playful and easy to follow—something a kid would love to hear at bedtime and learn from at the same time. Keep the tone light, magical, and educational. Include dialogue, playful descriptions, and a clear moral or takeaway at the end.” Aim for around 400–600 words.
