💼 Meet Zoom Docs: A new and affordable workspace!
Zoom has introduced a new tool that takes it a step closer to being a complete office suite alternative to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
It’s a collaboration-focused “modular workspace” called Zoom Docs that integrates the company’s Zoom AI Companion.
Here’s what it offers you:
With the Zoom AI Companion integration, you can summarize meetings, chats, and information from Zoom Docs or generate in-document tables.
It supports inter-document linking, embedding, and hierarchical organization with folders.
Your docs can be accessed through meetings, Zoom’s Team Chat, browser, and mobile applications.
But the best part is that it might be more budget-friendly than its competitors!
Zoom AI Companion is included in the price of the company’s paid subscription plans, which start at $149.90 per year per user, whereas Microsoft charges an extra $30/month per user for 365 Copilot, and Google has said it will do the same.
There’s no specific pricing for Zoom Docs yet, but you get one year of access to "Essential Apps" with paid subscriptions.
