 📉 ChatGPT's Web Traffic Declines

Web analytics firm SimilarWeb has reported a 9.7% decline in worldwide traffic to OpenAI’s ChatGPT webpage (including desktop and mobile traffic).

SimilarWeb also says that the time people spent on the webpage also dropped 8.5%.

This marks the first time traffic has fallen since OpenAI launched ChatGPT eight months ago. 😯

But It's not just website visits that are dropping.

Bank of America revealed that downloads for both the ChatGPT and Microsoft Bing apps are down 38% from May to June.

Since the emergence of AI-generated images and videos, it's been somewhat difficult to differentiate between what’s real and fake.
