🌐 Google Antitrust Ruling: Why Data Sharing Could Rewrite AI Search

So, after half a decade of antitrust drama, subpoenas, and enough courtroom paperwork to bury a startup, the verdict is in: Google keeps its toys.

Judge Amit Mehta’s ruling lets Google hold onto its Android operating system, Chrome browser, and that eye-watering $20B annual deal with Apple that keeps Google as your iPhone’s default search engine. And let me tell you, Wall Street’s thrilled—Alphabet stock shot up 7.2%, while Apple snagged a 3% boost.

But don’t let those market fireworks fool you. This ruling came with a twist sharp enough to make Big Tech sweat: Google now has to share its search data with rivals —well, more specifically, with qualified competitors.

Yep, the treasure chest of insights that built its empire is being cracked open—and that’s a huge win for competitors. Mehta even called AI search tools “better placed to compete with Google than any search engine developer has been in decades.”

Translation: AI-powered challengers like OpenAI and Perplexity just got the ultimate cheat code.

And it doesn’t stop there, the court also banned those exclusive deals that kept rival search engines off phones and carriers, finally giving competitors a shot at screen time.

Naturally, Google isn’t thrilled. They’re waving the privacy flag, claiming user safety could be at risk, and preparing an appeal that could drag all the way to the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, regulators are circling Meta, Amazon, and Apple, making it clear Big Tech’s free-pass era is over.

💡 Our Take:

This isn’t a full takedown, but it’s a huge crack in Google’s armor. Sure, the company keeps its ecosystem intact (for now), but forcing data sharing is a game-changer. It’s like giving every rival a cheat code while tossing fuel on the AI fire—and you can bet OpenAI and the rest are already plotting their next glow-ups.

Bottom line: this ruling could accelerate the next big shift in how we explore the web. Google walks away “winning,” but the playing field just got a lot less tilted. Keep your popcorn handy folks—the AI-powered search wars are officially in season.

🗣️ Trump Blames Viral White House Window Video on AI

If you’ve ever watched a viral video and thought, “No way this is real…” welcome to the exact brain space the entire internet, the media, and yes, even Donald Trump have been stuck in for days.

The clip? Something being YEETED (yes, yeeted) out of a White House window.

And Trump’s response? Oh, we were fed.

Here’s the rundown:

Over Labor Day weekend, Instagram account @WashingtonianProbs posted a short video showing what looked like a bag flying out of a White House window. The caption? Playful. The reaction? Full-blown meltdown.

Within hours, X, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky—you name it—were on fire. With Trump mysteriously MIA (and that now-iconic blackened right hand doing laps online), the conspiracy train left the station fast.

By Tuesday, Fox’s Peter Doocy brought it up at a press conference that was supposed to be about Space Command moving to Alabama. But Trump’s response? classic.

According to him:

“That’s probably AI-generated…”

He went all in, insisting nobody could open those windows, roasted the media, and then, with a straight face, dropping a new strategy:

“If something happens really bad, maybe I’ll just blame AI.”

Meanwhile, TIME got the far less cinematic version from the White House: turns out it was just a contractor doing some maintenance while Trump was out. So no—it wasn’t a secret op. Not a cover-up. Definitely not AI. Just a guy with a ladder.

Why This Matters:

This was never really about a bag flying out a window—it’s about how easy it’s become to dismiss reality as “AI.” Going by Trump's theory, “blame AI” is now the ultimate get-out-of-jail card.

And here’s the kicker: this time, the story was boring. Just maintenance. But the fact that we all instinctively doubted reality? That’s the real headline.

If you haven’t seen the video, take a look, or just kick back and enjoy the chaos of Trump being peak Trump.

🤖 ChatGPT Prompt Of The Day: Customizing ChatGPT

The real magic of ChatGPT isn’t just in what it can do—it’s in how well it adapts to you. That’s where customization comes in. With just a few tweaks, you can make ChatGPT sound like you, follow your workflow, and save yourself the headache of repeating instructions every time.

Think of it as teaching your AI partner your style once—and letting it run with it.

How to Customize ChatGPT to Your Workflow & Tone

  1. Set Custom Instructions: Tell ChatGPT what you do, what you’re working on, your goals, and how you’d like it to respond. (Find this under Settings → Personalization.)

  2. Create a Master Prompt: Keep a reusable prompt that outlines your style and workflow so ChatGPT can stay consistent and build smarter responses.

  3. Use Memory (if available): Let ChatGPT remember your tone and preferences across chats.

  4. Build a Custom GPT: For a fully tailored experience, create your own version with built-in rules. (we'll share more on this soon!)

💡 Here’s a prompt you can tweak to fit your workflow:

“You are my AI assistant. Always respond in a friendly, engaging, and easy-to-digest way. Keep explanations concise, use simple language, and format with bullets or short paragraphs when it helps clarity. Your goal is to make my work faster, smoother, and more enjoyable.”
