🤩 Google's AI Overviews Get a New Look!

Hey everyone, exciting news from Google!
The company is expanding its AI-generated search summaries to six more countries: the UK, India, Japan, Indonesia, Mexico, and Brazil.
Along with this expansion, Google is changing how citations are displayed!
Now, instead of directly including relevant webpages in the AI-generated summary, Google has added a new display to the right of the response that showcases cited webpages more prominently.
This new format will make it super easy for you to find the content you're interested in.
The best part? It has already started rolling out and will also appear on mobile—you just have to select the site icons in the top-right corner of the AI Overview.

But that’s not all — Google is also testing the ability to attach links directly to the text of AI Overviews.
This means you can click the linked text to quickly navigate to relevant websites and browse the web pages that Google will show you in the new right-side display.
And according to Google, early testing has shown positive results, driving higher traffic to publisher sites.
That’s awesome, right? But there’s still more coming!
Other new features include the ability to save an AI Overview, an Interests page that will store saved AI Overviews, and a button to simplify some AI Overviews.
These features are available within the “AI Overviews and more” experiment in Search Labs for English queries in the US.
So, be sure to check them out and experience the future of search for yourself!

🖼️ The Latest Version of Imagen 3 From Google.

Google just dropped the latest version of Imagen 3, its awesome text-to-image generator, for US users.
And I've got to say, the new version is seriously impressive!
It's all about creating super detailed images with richer lighting and fewer distracting artifacts compared to their older models.
But perhaps the coolest part is its editing capabilities!
Let's say you love the image you generated but want to change the sky's color or add some new details. That's no problem!
Just highlight the area you want to tweak, describe the changes you have in mind, and bam! Your image is transformed.
Now, you might wonder, "Can I create anything I want with Imagen 3?
Well, almost! Google has put in some guardrails to keep things respectful and safe.
For example, you can't generate images of public figures like Taylor Swift, images of weapons, or copyrighted characters like Mickey Mouse or Hedgehog.
Or can you? Rumor is that some sneaky users have found ways to get around these restrictions!

However, Imagen 3 is way more restrictive than some other AI image generators out there, like Grok on Elon Musk's X platform, which has been used to create some pretty wild and crazy stuff!
Google, on the other hand, is taking a more cautious approach, and that's probably a good thing.
Of course, no AI tool is perfect, and Google has had its share of issues in the past.
Remember when their Gemini AI chatbot started spitting out historically inaccurate images?
Yikes, that was a mess! But Imagen 3 seems to be a major step forward.
So what are you waiting for? Head over to Google's AI Test Kitchen and give Imagen 3 a try!
Just remember to play nice and follow the rules... or at least try to!

🤖ChatGPT Prompt Of The Day: Automate Your Perfectionism.
Automation ensures that your work meets a certain standard every time without the need for constant manual intervention.
This consistency helps maintain quality without the exhaustive effort often associated with perfectionism.
Here's a prompt that can help you with that.
“I am a recovering perfectionist. Perfectionism has held me back in the past, but not any more. Your task is to assess the work I’m about to publish and find any errors that I should fix. After telling me where the errors are, tell me that you’re proud of the effort I put into this work. Help me realize that putting in maximum effort and being prepared to learn and iterate is more important than everything being exactly right the first time. Not everything requires perfection, and shipping the work is often more important.”
