📸 Meta’s New AI-Powered Video Generator!
Meta just announced its new AI-powered video generator called Movie Gen.
This incredible tool can bring high-definition videos to life with nothing but a simple text prompt.
Not only does it create stunning visuals, but it also comes with sound.
The audio is AI-generated, matching the imagery with ambient noise, sound effects, and background music.
Plus, the videos can be generated in different aspect ratios, but there’s more!
Movie Gen can also turn your still images into custom videos.
The company shared an example that shows a still headshot of a woman, and guess what? The added video depicts her sitting in a pumpkin patch sipping a drink.
It can also be used to edit existing footage, change the style and transitions, or add new elements, all through simple text prompts.
For example, this tool can edit an illustrated runner in different ways, such as the runner holding pompoms, sporting a dinosaur costume, or even the background can be edited to show a desert.
However, Meta isn’t ready to release it to the public just yet.
Chris Cox, Meta’s chief product officer, explains on Threads that the product is still expensive and the generation time is too long, so it won't be released anytime soon.
But they're definitely onto something big here, don’t you think?

🤩 New Gmail Feature on iOS!
Google just made life a little easier for Gmail users on iOS!
Thanks to its Gemini chatbot, you can now literally talk to your inbox. Yes, you heard that right!
This new feature, called Gmail Q&A, is like having a personal assistant dedicated to your emails.
So, in cases where you need to know about a specific subject, like how much your company spent on the last marketing event, or maybe you're behind on all those “quarterly planning” emails, you can ask Gemini right there in your inbox.
And get this: it’s not entirely new—at least for Android users who have been enjoying this little gem since August, but now it’s finally ready to join the iOS party!
Oh, and in the future – It won’t just stop at emails.
Gemini will also be able to pull info directly from your Drive because who doesn’t want an AI that can multitask?
But here's the catch: the new feature is only available for Google One AI Premium subscribers and those with specific Workspace accounts.
(Because, let’s face it, Google loves to keep the good stuff behind a paywall)
Also, because they’re banking on features like this to generate revenue from Gemini, Gmail Q&A is likely to be locked up tighter than a vault for free users.
But hey, if it saves you from sifting through a mountain of unread emails, it might just be worth it.
So what do you say? Ready to have a chat with your inbox?
While we’re on the topic of updates, you should know that Gmail recently rolled out revamped summary cards that are like little helpers for organizing your inbox.
They help you track packages, check-in for flights, and pay bills—all without leaving the app.
Sounds pretty handy, right? Well, you can find out more about it here!
