🤯 Microsoft's Edge Copilot Has a Cool New Trick Up Its Sleeve!

Like Google's Bard, it can whip up text summaries for videos in no time.
According to Mikhail Parakhin, Microsoft’s CEO of advertising and web services, for this feature to work, it'll need to pre-process the video or use subtitles to generate the summaries.
@lucataco93@skirano In order for it to work, we need to pre-process the video. If the video has subtitles - we can always fallback on that, if it does not and we didn't preprocess it yet - then it won't work.

Simply put – if there are no subtitles or transcript, or the video isn’t pre-processing, it won't work.
But hey, most videos (especially on YouTube or Vimeo) come with subtitles or transcripts if the feature is toggled on. So, you're likely good to go, and yes, it’s a time saver.

But wait, there's more!
Microsoft 365 users are in for a treat. Edge Copilot will work seamlessly across Microsoft 365, summarizing Teams video meetings and customer service calls.
It's tried, tested, and verified. If you're up for a spin, you can give the tool a try. However, here's a demo of the tool in action if you prefer.
Ok, the new feature in Microsoft Edge that generates video summaries of what you are watching is pretty awesome!
Great work @MParakhin! 🔥

🚀 Unlock Your Productivity with Google's Enhanced AI Note-Taking App!
Google's AI note-taking app, NotebookLM, is now available for all US users aged 18 and above.
If you're someone who struggles with taking notes or organizing them, you're going to love this app.
With NotebookLM, you can easily create summaries and follow-up questions based on your documents. Additionally, you can organize your notes into structured writing projects such as script outlines, email newsletters, or marketing plans.
And the best part? NotebookLM uses Google's new large language model, Gemini Pro, to “help with document understanding and reasoning.”
It can suggest actions based on what you're doing. For example, if you're writing a note, it can refine your prose or suggest related ideas from your sources based on what you've written so far.

Google has also added a noteboard space to easily pin quotes from chats or your written notes.
They've made several other improvements to the app to enhance its usability. You can find the complete list of changes here.
The best part is that the app is already live; you can try it out now.
