👺 AI Scammers Target Midjourney on Facebook!

Hackers are up to no good again! They’re using Facebook ads and hijacked pages to push fake AI services, such as sneak peeks of new features on MidJourney, OpenAI's SORA, ChatGPT-5, and DALL-E.

But don't be fooled — these ads are loaded with malware that steals everything from passwords to credit card information faster than you can blink!

One such fake ad is a Facebook page claiming to be Midjourney.

It had many posts about the release of a non-existent desktop version of Midjourney, free trials, etc., that tricked people into downloading the malware. crazy, right?

Even crazier is that the fake page had 1.2 million followers and remained active for nearly a year before it was eventually taken down.

But that’s not the end of it: They now have another active page with over 600,000 members to keep the scam rolling, and unfortunately, there are many more like it.

So, remember always to double-check before clicking on those too-good-to-be-true AI offers.

📲 Meta's New Approach to AI-generated Content on Social Media!

Are you still struggling to tell what is AI-generated or not on social media? Then you’d love Meta’s latest move!

Starting in May, Meta will roll out a "Made with AI" label for video, audio, and image content on Instagram, Facebook, and Threads.

These labels will appear either when users disclose their use of AI tools or when Meta's advanced AI detection systems detect them.

But that’s not all — Meta will also alter how it moderates AI-generated material as of July.

Rather than outrightly removing all AI-generated content, they'll now allow content that doesn’t violate other community guidelines.

However, any content that violates rules on issues like bullying, voter interference, and harassment will still be removed, regardless of whether AI was used to create it or not.

All these changes are based on recommendations and feedback from Meta’s Oversight Board.
