🤩 ChatGPT’s Paid Users Get Additional Features!

If you're a ChatGPT Plus, Enterprise, or Teams user, listen up — OpenAI has introduced some exciting new features that will make managing your data easier!
Soon, you won't need to download files from your Google Drive or OneDrive and then re-upload them to ChatGPT if you want to use the chatbot to analyze your data.
Yep, that's right! You will be able to add those files to the chatbot directly!
All you have to do is give ChatGPT access to your Google Drive or OneDrive account, and it will take care of the rest!
We're rolling out interactive tables and charts along with the ability to add files directly from Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive into ChatGPT. Available to ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Enterprise users over the coming weeks. openai.com/index/improvem…

ChatGPT’s new capabilities don’t stop there, though.
OpenAI also improved ChatGPT’s ability to understand datasets from instructions written in natural language — You can ask the chatbot to run Python code for analytics, merge or clean datasets, and create charts from your files.
And aside from making charts if asked, ChatGPT can now interact with those tables and charts.
For example, you can ask additional questions about the data, expand the table's view, and customize visualizations by changing colors.
And if, after reading all this, you have any worries about your privacy, you can shove them aside!
OpenAI said in its blog post that it will not train AI models from uploaded data and that you can opt out of training.
All these new features will be available to paid users in the coming weeks through the new GPT-4o.
So, if you're interested, pay up if you're not doing that already, or you can learn more here before you drop those coins.
🚨 AI Safety Takes a Backseat at OpenAI?

Remember Jan Leike, a key OpenAI researcher who announced his resignation from OpenAI in a very short post on X with no explanations?
He’s saying a lot more now!
All hell broke loose soon after it was reported that OpenAI had disbanded the “Superalignment team,” — a team meant to address long-term AI risks as OpenAI developed AI that could reason like a human.
If you’re wondering why, it's because that team was led by Leike before his departure, and yes, Ilya Sutskever was also part of it before he resigned, too!
Leike now claims that “safety culture and processes have taken a backseat to shiny products” at OpenAI.
And that the Superalignment team was no longer a priority to OpenAI, so much so that the team couldn’t get the needed resources to perform “crucial” work.
Building smarter-than-human machines is an inherently dangerous endeavor.
OpenAI is shouldering an enormous responsibility on behalf of all of humanity.
