🤩 A New Era of AI Phones!

Imagine making phone calls in a language you don't speak and still being able to understand every word.

It sounds impossible, right?

Well, that’s what Samsung is bringing to the table with its groundbreaking “Live Translation feature” in the new Galaxy S24 series!

The new feature will allow you to communicate in various languages within Samsung’s native phone app — no third-party app is required.

Picture this: you can pick up your phone and call a Spanish restaurant to make a reservation while speaking English, and your words will be translated immediately after you speak to the other person on the phone.

That person could then respond in their own language — in this case, Spanish, which is then translated again into your language, English.

This translation extends beyond calls; It covers text translations and is even integrated into the Samsung keyboard so you can directly translate words and phrases as you type.

But here’s the best part:

You can customize your communication style to either casual, formal, excited, social, or even Shakespearean, and the feature will remember your language settings as well as which language each of your contacts speaks, so you don't need to constantly tweak your settings before each conversation.

And don’t worry about privacy either because all translations, whether spoken or written, are processed on the device using Google’s efficient AI model, Gemini Nano.

The live translation feature will launch with support for audio and text translations in up to 13 languages, including French, Spanish, English, and Korean.

The Galaxy S24 series comes with a lot more features than just the translation, it's loaded with some of the coolest AI-powered features.

  • Circle to search: It's a new way to find what you're looking for using just your finger.

  • State Of The Art Summarization Feature: you can record a lecture on the phone and get a concise summary of the key highlights instantly.

  • Magic Compose: This allows you to craft messages in different styles ( “excited,” “formal”, and “lyrical”) without the need for an internet connection.

  • Generative Edit: The phone can automatically fill in parts of images based on the surrounding context.

Here's a quick demo of the Galaxy S24 series in action.
