😩 OpenAI GPT Store Launch Hits a Delay.

The much-awaited launch of the GPT Store, which was initially scheduled for December, has been postponed to early next year.

The delay was announced in an email sent to individuals who had registered for the GPT Builder. The email cited "unforeseen circumstances" as the reason for the delay.

But to be fair to OpenAI, they've been through quite a ride lately from:

• The departure of CEO Sam Altman,

• The open revolt of hundreds of its employees,

• The exodus of senior executives,

• The welcoming of a new CEO

  😃 Easily Track What You or ChatGPT Wrote With iA Writer 7

iA Writer 7 has added a new feature clearly mark text contributed by generative AI systems like ChatGPT

Your words stay black, while your AI-generated text copied into your iA document can be greyed out.

Then, as you tweak and edit the AI additions you can easily keep track of how much text is your original work and how much is artificially generated.

Although, iA Writer may not always recognize when text is AI-generated, However, you can choose to manually mark it as such.

During a test, it was found that iA Writer didn’t recognize text from ChatGPT if you only copied over the generative AI’s response without the prompt. 

So, to manually get it to appear as AI text, you can right-click, select “Paste As,” and then choose “ChatGPT.”

They've even published the spec on Github, and are open to working with other apps to ideally turn the feature into a new standard.
