💼 OpenAI Challenges LinkedIn With New AI-Powered Jobs Platform.

OpenAI just casually announced it’s building a full-on AI-powered job-hunting platform called The OpenAI Jobs Platform—and honestly? It sounds like LinkedIn but juiced up with ChatGPT-level brainpower.

The plan: launch mid-2026, match people to jobs with scary accuracy, and maybe make your “Open to Work” banner totally obsolete.

And that’s just the start.

OpenAI is also spinning up a certification program through its Academy to help people level up their “AI fluency.” (Because apparently that’s a thing now.) Think: a future where knowing AI isn’t just a flex—it’s your golden ticket. Oh, and they’ve already got Walmart—yes, the retail giant—signed on as a partner, with plans to certify 10 million Americans by 2030.

Fun Facts:

  • This puts OpenAI in a showdown with LinkedIn—wildly ironic since LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman was an early OpenAI investor, and Microsoft (LinkedIn’s parent company) is OpenAI’s biggest backer.

  • The platform will feature a track for small businesses and local governments to recruit top AI talent (not just Silicon Valley tech bros).

  • Certifications roll out in late 2025.

  • All this is part of the White House’s AI literacy push—and yes, Sam Altman along with other big tech executives literally met at the White House to talk AI with President Trump on Thursday.

The Big Picture: OpenAI knows AI is about to wreck a LOT of jobs—Anthropic’s CEO predicts up to 50% of entry-level white-collar gigs could vanish by 2030. Instead of pretending the wave isn’t coming, OpenAI’s handing out surfboards.

Our Take:

This isn’t just “LinkedIn but smarter.” This is OpenAI straight up saying, we’re gonna control the hiring pipeline AND tell you what counts as a valuable skill.

It’s bold, and yeah… it’s a little terrifying.

But also? Kinda genius. If they pull this off, OpenAI could easily become the one-stop shop for AI-era careers: they’d train you, certify you, and land you a job. It’s giving “college degree replacement” energy.

LinkedIn better start doing pushups because OpenAI’s about to come swinging—and they’re bringing Walmart with them.

📹 Mirage AI: The $500M Startup Reimagining Short-Form Video

Remember Captions—the AI app that helped creators auto-polish their TikToks and Reels? Well, it just had a full-on identity crisis and came back as Mirage.

And no, this isn’t a “we changed our logo, please clap” situation. Mirage has basically transformed into a whole AI research lab—and they’re aiming to rewrite video itself.

So what’s cooking in the Mirage kitchen?

  • They’ve bagged over $100M in funding and are now flexing a $500M valuation. Casual.

  • Their star product, Mirage Studio, takes an audio file and spits out a full video—backgrounds, avatars, everything fresh-made.

  • The avatars? Freakishly realistic. They talk, blink, move—and yes, you can even upload a selfie to turn yourself into a digital twin. (Because clearly, one of you isn’t always enough.)

  • Unlike rivals, Mirage swears they’re not recycling stock footage or faking lip-syncs. Everything is built from scratch.

Here’s the bigger play: Mirage wants to dominate short-form video. We’re talking TikTok, Reels, Shorts—the attention economy’s holy trinity.

But… there’s always a but. AI video comes with baggage:

  • Deepfakes. That slippery slope where you can’t tell if it’s your favorite celeb endorsing skincare or just an AI with good lighting.

  • Job fears. Editors, actors, and production crews are already side-eyeing this.

  • Trust issues. If everything looks real, how do you know what’s actually real?

Mirage says they’re trying to be responsible—blocking impersonations, asking for consent, and preaching “media literacy”. Points for effort, but let’s be honest—the internet loves chaos.

Our Take: Mirage is bold, and honestly, we respect the hustle. Zeroing in on short-form is genius—because that’s where attention lives right now.

Their tech feels slick, their avatars are scary good, and their anti-copy-paste approach makes them stand out. But let’s be real: this could either be the future of content—or the reason we all stop trusting anything we see online. Either way, Mirage just made the AI video race way more interesting.

🤖 ChatGPT Prompt Of The Day: Humanizing AI Content

Whether it’s your resume, a LinkedIn post, or that email you’ve been dodging—words land better when they sound human. Sure, AI-written text can be technically flawless, but it often comes off stiff, flat, and… kinda robotic. That’s where humanizing your content steps in. It makes your writing warmer, more relatable, and way more likely to spark a genuine connection.

Here’s how to use this prompt effectively:

  • Break it up: Turn long, winding sentences into short, punchy ones.

  • Use contractions: “It is” → “It’s.” Tiny change, big impact.

  • Add personality: Humor, quick asides, or even an emoji can make a huge difference.

  • Mix the rhythm: Blend short zingers with longer lines for natural flow.

  • Talk to the reader: Ask questions, invite interaction—it feels more like a convo.

  • Ground it in stories: Drop in examples or micro-stories for instant relatability.

  • Leverage helper tools: Apps like Humanize AI, Hemingway Editor, Grammarly, QuillBot, BypassGPT, and others can highlight clunky spots, tone mismatches, or overly complex sentences—so you can smooth them out fast.

PS: You can also drop in a sample for ChatGPT to mimic—it’ll catch the idea way faster.

💡Prompt to Try:

Rewrite this text to sound casual, friendly, and human. Break long sentences into shorter ones, use contractions, add a conversational tone, and sprinkle in light personality or asides where it feels natural.
