🆕 Microsoft’s new Copilot Vision!

Microsoft’s new Copilot Vision (first teased in October) has finally arrived to make browsing sessions a little less burdensome.

That’s right, Microsoft has decided that staring at tabs in existential dread doesn’t have to be a solo activity anymore.

With Copilot Vision, your AI companion can “see” the webpages you’re browsing in Edge, read along with you, and jump in to help solve problems or answer questions.

And by “solve problems,” we mean cool stuff like deciphering a handwritten recipe, finding the best online deals, or even digging up cooking tips from your OneDrive image stash.

In short, it’s like having a genius bestie who’s always ready to help (and never judges your browsing history).

Now, before your inner privacy watchdog starts barking, here’s the good news:

It’s strictly optional. You have to give Copilot Vision explicit permission to access your pages, so there won’t be any AI snooping around uninvited.

Microsoft is also being extra careful with this rollout because, let’s face it, the idea of an AI “reading” what’s on your screen is bound to raise some privacy flags.

To ease these concerns, they’ve promised no data storage, no creepy model training, and a strong commitment to respecting both users and content creators.

In other words, they’re saying, “We’re helpful, not nosy.”😀

For now, it’s a bit exclusive— Copilot Vision is only available to a limited group of Copilot Pro subscribers in the U.S. through the Copilot Labs program.

It also works on a select handful of websites, but Microsoft plans to gradually expand access as they fine-tune the experience.
