🛑 OpenAI's Trust and Safety Chief Resigns!
Dave Willner, OpenAI's head of trust and safety, has decided to step down.
His reason? Work-life balance.
Dave mentioned that he wants to be fully present for his family, but since the launch of ChatGPT, finding that balance has been quite challenging.
In the meantime, Mira Murati, OpenAI's CTO, will hold down the fort, while Dave will continue to lend his expertise as an advisor until the end of the year.
🤩 ChatGPT Debuts on Android!
This comes just two months after the successful launch of the iOS version, which got half a million downloads in the first week.🤯
The ChatGPT app on Android is expected to offer similar functionality to the iOS version, allowing users to sync conversations and preferences across devices.
But, it won’t be completely identical since iPhone and Android's OS differ in many ways.
The app is expected to roll out to users in the U.S. first, with other countries likely to follow in the coming weeks or months.
