🎁 Etsy Unveils AI-Powered "Gift Mode" to Simplify Your Gift-Giving!

Most people would agree that selecting the perfect gift for your loved ones (no matter the occasion) can be a long and stressful process of browsing countless options.

But it doesn’t have to be like that anymore!

Etsy (an E-commerce site) just rolled out a new AI-powered feature called “Gift Mode” to help you ace your next gift quickly!

All you have to do is choose who you're shopping for (sibling, parent, child), the occasion (birthday, anniversary, get-well), and the recipient’s interests (e.g., crafting, fashion, sports, video games, etc.), and voila!

Gift Mode will generate a series of gift guides inspired by your choices - all from over 100 million items listed on the platform!

The gift guides are centered around more than 200 different personas like “The Music Lover,” “The Video Gamer,” “The Adventurer”, “The Pet Parent”, etc. and the platform plans to add new interests and personas in the future.

But here’s something even cooler:

If you’re worried that your gift may not arrive on time, you can use the "gift teaser" feature to send the recipient a sneak peek of the item along with a gift note and tracking information via email. How cool is that?

AI isn't new to Etsy — it has powered the platform’s search features for years, and they’ve released other gift-related offerings in the past, including wedding and baby registries. You can rest assured that you’re in good hands.

So, why not let “Gift Mode” be your gift genie? Try it out here

🤩 Anthropic’s Claude Might Soon Launch A New Feature!

Anthropic might be cooking up a new feature for its chatbot Claude that will make it way more appealing to you!

The hints found in the code of the company’s website suggest that Claude may soon be able to analyze images, just like its rivals - Google’s Bard and OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

This means you can ask Claude to identify cats in an image, compare two images for differences, or even describe a piece of art.

But before you get too excited, we should let you know that Anthropic has not publicly discussed the new feature yet.

The only thing that’s for sure right now is — that if this new feature is released, it’ll definitely help Anthropic catch up with larger competitors.
