Scammers used deepfake technology to create a fake Taylor Swift ad for a Le Creuset cookware giveaway. The ad was so realistic, that it tricked fans into believing that it was genuine, resulting in them unknowingly participating in a survey scam.

In the video, Taylor Swift (AI-generated version) talks about packaging errors and urges fans to quickly grab a "free" giveaway. But the truth is, Taylor has no official ties to the brand!

This is fast becoming a serious problem as other celebrities like Tom Hanks and MrBeast have also had similar scams pulled off on their fans.

The Better Business Bureau has already warned internet users, but it's worth repeating: Stay sharp, scrutinize posts, and don't easily succumb to tempting offers.

As for the masterminds behind the Taylor Swift scam, they remain elusive. One of the suspects is a Facebook account named "The most profitable shares".
