Hello and welcome to the Automated, your AI tour guide.
When Google’s video generation tool, Veo, launched, we hinted that OpenAI might have a little surprise up its sleeve before the year wrapped up—and guess what?
They delivered Just in time for the holiday season! Yep OpenAI has officially unveiled Sora, and we know you wouldn’t want to miss out on this, so let’s break it down for you!
Here’s what we have for you today:
😃 Sora Is Finally Here!
🔍 Reddit Takes on AI Giants with New ‘Reddit Answers’.
🦾 How ChatGPT's Canvas can help you use AI more productively.
👨💼 How top creators will leverage AI to 10x their own output in 2025.

😃 Sora Is Finally Here!
OpenAI just kicked off the holiday season with a major gift: Sora, its long-awaited text-to-video AI model that lets you create videos with nothing more than your imagination (and of course a ChatGPT subscription).
It’s part of their 12-day “ship-mas” celebration, and it’s available now on Sora.com for users in the US and most other countries.
If you're in Europe or the UK, though, you’ll have to wait a bit longer—Sam Altman’s words, not mine.
So, what can you really do with Sora?
Well, Sora isn’t just about turning text into videos; it’s packed with features that make it feel like a playground for creators.
You can animate images, tweak existing videos, and even use the “storyboard” tool to create sequences based on multiple prompts.
There’s also a “remix tool” for those who love tweaking things and a “blending” feature to seamlessly merge scenes together.
As for the price, OpenAI is offering two subscription options.
ChatGPT Plus users get a taste of the action with up to 50 videos per month at 720p resolution, each lasting up to five seconds.
While Pro users, who fork out $200 a month, get the full buffet:
They get unlimited videos, higher resolution at 1080p, 20-second durations, watermark-free downloads, and the ability to generate five videos simultaneously.
Pro feels like the VIP lounge of Sora, doesn’t it?
During a livestream, OpenAI showcased Sora’s explore page, which features a feed of AI-generated videos created by the community.
And you know what else? Even if you’re not a subscriber, you can still browse the feed for inspiration—or just to marvel at what people are dreaming up.
But hey, as fun as it sounds, OpenAI isn’t taking risks with misuse.
Every video comes with watermarks and metadata to make sure everyone knows it’s AI-generated.
Uploads are also strictly monitored, with users required to confirm they’re not sharing explicit, violent, or copyrighted material—or anything involving minors.
Break the rules, and your account could face suspension or a ban.
OpenAI’s Rohan Sahai admitted that moderation won’t be perfect from day one, but they’re starting cautiously and asking for user feedback to fine-tune the system.
Overall, Sora feels like a sneak peek into the future of creativity—part tool, part toy, and fully loaded with potential.
Whether you’re here to create, remix, or just binge-watch the community feed, it’s definitely worth checking out.

🔍 Reddit Takes on AI Giants with New ‘Reddit Answers’.
Reddit has officially entered the AI chat game with its shiny new feature, Reddit Answers—designed to save you from the endless rabbit holes of posts and comments.
Instead of scrolling through post after post, you can now ask questions like “What are the best tips for better sleep?” and receive a curated, conversational summary of the best answers from actual Reddit users—all neatly packaged and easy to digest.
To put it simply:
Reddit Answers pulls the best responses from its treasure trove of posts and serves them up in an easy-to-digest, chatty format.
You can skim through snippets, explore related posts, or, if you're feeling adventurous, dive deep into the full discussions.
Really, It’s like having a Reddit-savvy friend who knows all the best answers and skips the drama.
But why roll this out now? Well, Reddit’s got some stiff competition.
AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity have been using Reddit’s own data to serve up answers, and even Google jumped in, tweaking its search to show Reddit posts—because, let’s be real, people trust Redditors more than some random SEO blogs.
So, Reddit thought, “Why not do it ourselves?”
Powered by Reddit’s in-house AI (with a little help from OpenAI and Google Cloud), this feature is rolling out to a select group of U.S. users for now.
But don’t worry, though—global domination is on the horizon, with plans for more languages and wider availability soon.
Oh and that’s not all.
Reddit is also working on AI-powered search result pages, already uses AI for translations, and even offers AI-driven insights for brands.
It’s clear they’re gearing up to make sure their community-driven content stays at the heart of the internet’s AI future.
In short: Reddit’s done being everyone else’s data buffet. And now it’s serving its own AI-powered magic—on a silver platter.
