💃 The wait for ChatGPT Voice Mode is over!

Remember that ChatGPT Voice mode that made waves (and almost sparked a lawsuit with Scarlett Johansson)?

Well, brace yourself because it's making a comeback, and it's even more amazing than before!

According to Sam Altman's recent X post, the Alpha rollout for the Voice Mode kicks off next week for Plus subscribers!

Yes, it's happening that soon.😀

But here's the thing: not every Plus subscriber will have immediate access, and that's because OpenAI is starting with a small group for feedback before expanding access.

Because they haven't told us how to become one of the chosen few, getting in early is going to be a bit like winning the lottery.

But don't worry! The rest of us who might have to wait a bit longer won't be waiting for long — OpenAI has promised a full rollout to all Plus users by fall!

😤 X's New AI Training Update Raises Privacy Concerns!

Heads up!

X, formerly Twitter, has quietly changed its settings to automatically include user data into its AI training pool for Grok.

Yep, that same Grok that's supposed to give OpenAI's ChatGPT a run for its money with its "less political correctness and more humor" approach.

So, what does this change mean for you?

It means that X is using your posts, interactions, inputs, and results to train and improve Grok by default.

And if that’s not enough, the smaller (grayer) print adds that your data may be shared with X's service provider, xAI!

However, the language used is pretty vague, so it's unclear whether all your data is up for grabs or just your interactions with the chatbot.

As you may have guessed, this move did not sit well with many!

It has even caught the attention of X’s European privacy watchdog, the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC).

And get this:

They claim to have been in touch with X on this matter for months and were still blindsided by the change.

But they have now reached out to X and are awaiting a response.

In the EU, a company needs a valid legal basis for processing people’s data, so we can't wait to hear what X has to say!

But in the meantime, if you’re worried about your X data being used, there’s an option to turn off this feature.
