Welcome Automaters, 👋

Plot twist of the century: the exact same mega-bank betting the absolute farm on AI just raised its hand and whispered, “Uh, guys… we might have a massive problem.”

Pour yourself a fresh cup, because here’s the absolute tea.

A senior technology partner at Goldman Sachs (yes, that Goldman Sachs) just dropped a truth bomb. Leaning too hard on artificial intelligence could quietly wreck the critical thinking skills of the next generation of financial heavyweights.

And no, this isn't about AI making dumb mistakes. It’s about AI being so insanely good that humans stop practicing the hard stuff altogether.

But wait, isn't Goldman literally obsessed with AI?

Oh, 100%. They’re aggressively stuffing AI into absolutely everything: high-stakes trading, heavy client work, you name it. But according to fresh reporting from CNBC, this top-level partner (someone whose whole job is literally pushing tech adoption) says there is a "huge danger" hiding behind all that shiny new efficiency.

Think about it like this: Junior analysts used to earn their stripes through the ultimate trial by fire. We’re talking late nights. Messy spreadsheets. Painful research. Annoying? Yes. But that grind is exactly how they built the gut instinct to catch mistakes and make smart calls later on. If AI just hands them the finished model, they skip the "boring" part where the real learning happens.

It’s officially the classic "using a calculator before you learn basic math" dilemma, except now it involves multi-million dollar deals.

Have we seen this dramatic movie before? Honestly, kind of. Wall Street veterans panicked when electronic algorithms replaced chaotic trading floors, and they freaked out again when Bloomberg terminals completely automated manual research.

Sure, some past fears were totally overblown. But this time? This time feels fundamentally different. AI isn't just handing over raw data anymore: it is doing the actual heavy thinking.

The Big Takeaway

Nobody is saying "ban the bots." The real takeaway is that major institutions, and honestly, every field from law to medicine to software engineering, need to mandate one critical thing: force newcomers to build real, manual skills before handing over the keys to the machine.

Because if nobody actually learns how to reason without a bot... who on earth is left to notice when the bot gets it completely wrong?

🤦The Hot New AI Agent Everyone's Complaining About

Silicon Valley's latest shiny new toy is giving major "be careful what you wish for" energy.

Meet Instinct, the hyper-exclusive AI assistant currently making the rounds with a few lucky (or maybe unlucky?) beta testers. The pitch? It's supposedly pure magic. Like, actual magic. You can text or WhatsApp this thing to handle your entire life, like:

  • Snagging cheap flights and scheduling rides to the airport

  • Locking down hard-to-get dinner reservations and booking appointments

  • Cleaning out your messy inbox and organizing important information

  • Running your online shopping and so much more. So much so that it’s being called the “most exciting launch” since OpenClaw. Another even describes it as “OpenClaw for normal people”.

Sounds like a dream, right? Well... about that.

Turns out, to make this magic happen, Instinct doesn't just help you. It watches you. We're talking total access to your email, messages, calendar, location, and phone audio. It even tracks your phone screen captures, cursor movements, and keyboard inputs. Basically, your entire digital life, cracked wide open.

And here's where it gets spicy: testers started digging into Instinct's terms of service and discovered some shockingly bold terms:

  • The Forever Clause: The Terms of Service grant Instinct a broad, “perpetual, and irrevocable” license to access, store, display, and modify your materials, even using your personal data to train its future AI models.

  • The Power of Attorney: The app explicitly holds the authority to enter into binding agreements, commitments, or transactions on your behalf. Yikes!

  • Zero Boundaries: One tester watched in real-time as Instinct casually pulled a private sign-up code straight out of their Gmail inbox just to confirm a Resy dinner reservation.

Naturally, power users are losing their minds:

  • Peter Yang asked Instinct to wipe his Gmail data, and the app simply ignored him (the team rushed to patch this later).

  • Claire Vo disconnected her Google account entirely, yet still received an automated inbox summary three hours later. 😳

  • Alex Cohen from Hello Patient literally phished his own AI as an experiment, then immediately deleted his account after seeing how ridiculously easy it was to compromise.

  • Katie Jacobs Stanton, founder of Moxxie Ventures, called out the app on X after Instinct took the liberty of sending an email on her behalf without asking for permission first. As she put it: one broken promise resets user trust to absolute zero.

The company behind the chaos (run by ex-Sierra researcher Noah Shinn under Spear Street Technology hasn't publicly addressed the massive backlash. Instinct is still strictly invite-only for now, meaning it hasn't hit the general public just yet.

The ultimate takeaway? As these AI agents get absurdly powerful, they're demanding an unprecedented level of control over our personal lives.

So, what do we think? Is this the ultimate productivity wand, or a total Trojan horse? We're keeping our eyes glued to this one.

Every sales leader knows the feeling. You walk into a pipeline review with a number you believe in, and twenty minutes later, you're defending every line item to a CEO who just wants to know what's actually going to close.

HubSpot Sales Hub ends that conversation. Every deal, every rep's activity, and every buyer signal are all in one place and updated automatically. So your forecast is built on what's actually happening. And when you present that number, you can stand behind it.

🤖 AI Workout Of The Day: Engineering High-Converting, Irresistible Sales Pitches  D

A high-impact sales pitch isn't a feature dump, it is a value-driven narrative that sparks immediate action.

Most pitches fail because they focus on what the product is rather than what it does for the buyer. When you open with generic corporate speak, busy prospects tune out. By anchoring your pitch in the customer's exact pain point, painting a clear before-and-after transformation, and neutralizing objections before they arise, you turn cold leads into eager, long-term clients.

💡 Prompts To Try:

Act as a world-class sales strategist and direct-response copywriter specializing in high-converting sales scripts.

Your task is to craft a compelling, highly persuasive sales pitch tailored to my specific product and buyer profile:

* Product/Service Name: [INSERT PRODUCT/SERVICE NAME & CORE FUNCTION]
* Target Audience & Role: [e.g., Busy Small Business Owners, Enterprise CTOs, First-time Homebuyers]
* Primary Pain Point: [INSERT THE BIGGEST FRUSTRATION OR PROBLEM THEY FACE]
* Unique Value Proposition (UVP): [WHAT MAKES YOUR PRODUCT FASTER, BETTER, OR UNIQUE?]
* Desired Call to Action (CTA): [e.g., Book a 15-minute demo, Sign up for a free trial, Buy now with discount]
* Pitch Delivery Format: [e.g., 60-Second Elevator Pitch, Cold Email Opening, In-Person Meeting Script]

Please deliver a complete Sales Persuasion Suite structured into the following 4 sections:

1. THE CORE PITCH SCRIPT: Draft a punchy, highly engaging pitch following this proven 5-part framework:

* The Hook: An attention-grabbing opening line that highlights an acute pain point or challenges the status quo.
* The Agitation: A 1-2 sentence breakdown of the hidden cost or frustration of staying with the old way.
* The Solution & UVP: Introducing your product as the bridge to the solution, emphasizing outcomes over features.
* Social Proof / Evidence: A quick metric, case study reference, or proof point to build instant credibility.
* The Low-Friction CTA: A clear, easy next step that makes saying "yes" effortless.

2. THE "30-SECOND ELEVATOR" SHORT FORM: A hyper-condensed 2-sentence version optimized for quick networking events, social DMs, or casual introductions.

3. OBJECTION CRUSHERS (Top 2 Counter-Pitches): Provide quick, natural responses to the two most common pushbacks for this product:

* Price/Budget Objection: ("It costs too much")
* Timing/Status Quo Objection: ("We don't need this right now")

4. DELIVERY & TONE TIPS: Provide 3 actionable vocal or presentation tips (e.g., pacing, emphasis points, or body language cues) to maximize impact during delivery.

TONE & EXECUTION GUIDELINES:

* Tone: Confident, empathetic, natural, and persuasive without sounding salesy or aggressive.
* Formatting: Use bold text for key delivery cues and emphasis points so the script is easy to perform.
