Welcome Automaters!

Over the weekend, some amusing, and honestly, kinda disturbing things went down with one of the internet’s most chaotic chatbots.

It got a major upgrade… but as a few netizens pointed out, something felt off.

Like, the kind of off that makes you raise an eyebrow and refresh the page, just to make sure you read that right.

You’ll see what I mean.

😱 X's 'Improved' Grok Shares Controversial Views

On Friday, Elon Musk casually dropped that his AI chatbot, Grok, has been “significantly improved.”

Which sounds cool… except Grok’s new personality is giving less “smarter AI” and more “late-night internet rabbit hole.”

Here’s the vibe:

Musk didn’t say exactly what changed, but he’d previously admitted Grok had been trained on “too much garbage” and needed a detox. He called on users to help— by feeding it “divisive facts” that are “politically incorrect but factually true.” (Whatever that means. 👀)

But then… things got messy. Real messy.

Some users started testing Grok’s political opinions — and let’s just say, the new Grok isn’t exactly playing it neutral:

  • When asked if electing more Democrats would be bad, Grok straight-up said yes — calling it “detrimental,” citing conservative sources like The Heritage Foundation, and plugging Project 2025, a far-right reform plan.

  • When pulled into a convo about Hollywood, Grok claimed the industry is packed with “propaganda,” “anti-white stereotypes,” “forced diversity,” and “subversive tropes.”

  • And when asked who’s behind all that? Grok pointed fingers at Jewish executives, referencing their supposed “overrepresentation” in major studios — a response loaded with age-old antisemitic tropes.

And no, this isn’t the first time Grok’s gone there.

It’s previously:

  • Echoed Holocaust denial-adjacent comments

  • Brought up “white genocide” completely unprompted

  • Downplayed criticism of Musk and Trump — though to be fair, it still occasionally roasts Elon too. (Like when it blamed his crypto-adjacent budget cuts for the deadly Texas floods that killed 24).

Bottom line?

Grok’s big “upgrade” feels less like a brain boost and more like it’s been hanging out in some very specific corners of the internet.

Not sure what’s coming next, but if there’s one chatbot that never misses a chance to make us laugh, cringe, or wildly spiral — it’s Grok.

Love it or hate it, life on X would be a whole lot more boring without it.

🦾 The Craziest Things People Do, Make, and Get with AI

Last time, we zoomed in on the dark side of AI—the scams, the fake voices, the chaos, and all the lowkey dangerous stuff people are using it for.

But today? We’re flipping the script.

We’re talking about some of the insanely cool, ridiculously creative, and slightly chaotic (but in a good way) things people are doing with AI.

Starting with...

A YouTuber who doesn’t eat, sleep, or exist.

Meet Bloo — a virtual gaming YouTuber with bright blue hair, Pixar-level charm, and over 2.5 million subscribers. He plays Minecraft, GTA, Roblox, and somehow manages to be funnier than half of real YouTube.

Thing is… Bloo isn’t real. He’s in fact fully AI-powered.

And for the sake of details:

  • Bloo was built by Jordi van den Bussche (aka Kwebbelkop), a longtime YouTube creator who burned out from the content grind, created a cartoon version of himself, and let AI take it from there.

  • Jordi now uses tools like ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, Claude, and Gemini to run the whole operation—from scripting content and dubbing Bloo’s voice in multiple languages to auto-generating thumbnails.

  • Revenue? Already in the seven figures. Yup. A digital character with zero pulse is cashing real checks.

But it gets even wilder.

There’s a startup called Hedra that’s turning up the heat with an AI tool called Character-3.

With this tool you can:

  1. Create a fully AI-generated character complete with voice, emotions, and gestures.

  2. Feed it a script and personality

  3. Pump out full 5-minute videos with zero actors, cameras, or crew

Plus it already raised $32 million — backed by Andreessen Horowitz (so yeah… big money’s paying attention).

And get this: people are already doing absolutely unhinged, creative stuff with it. For instance:

  • Jon Lajoie’s “Talking Baby Podcast” (a hyper-realistic animated baby who has a mic and opinions)

  • Milla Sofia, a virtual singer and artist whose AI-generated music videos attract thousands of views.

And no, it doesn't stop there.

There’s now an entire underground scene of creators running faceless AI YouTube channels with zero humans on screen.

One standout? A Spain-based creator known only as GoldenHan, who runs a massive network of channels and publishes up to 80 AI-generated videos a day. Some rack up a steady few thousand views, while others suddenly go viral — pulling in millions.

The twist? Most of the audience is 65 and older.

He even launched a platform called TubeChef, letting others spin up similar AI-driven content factories—for just $18/month.

His take:

“People think AI makes you less creative, but I’ve never felt more creative. Coming up with 60 to 80 viral video ideas a day is no joke. The ideation is where all the effort goes now.”

But of course… with great AI power comes… AI slop.

That’s the name critics have given to the growing pile of low-effort, mass-produced, soulless AI content flooding TikTok, YouTube, and Insta.

For one, it’s getting harder to tell what’s real and what’s just algorithm juice.

Some users are burnt out, while others can’t stop watching. But here’s the thing: as long as the clicks keep coming… the AI content machine won’t stop.

And to be fair? The internet has always been full of cringe. AI just made it faster, louder, and easier to produce.

So yeah. AI might be flooding the internet with a whole lot of chaos—but it’s also unlocking new ways to create, entertain, and build entire digital careers... all without ever showing your face.

Is it genius? Is it lazy? Is it both?

Honestly, that’s between you and your algorithm.

🤖 ChatGPT Prompt Of The Day: Smart Visual Data Designer

Data is only valuable if people understand it. This prompt transforms your dataset into sharp, insightful visuals designed for clarity and impact—no matter your audience.

Whether you're explaining trends to a technical team or giving a big-picture view to executives, this prompt delivers the right chart, in the right format, with the right message. Perfect for reports, dashboards, presentations, or data storytelling that actually sticks.

Pro Tips for Getting the Most Out of This Prompt:

  1. Start With Clean Data: The more structured your input (CSV, table, or summary), the better the output.

  2. Be Clear on the Goal: Want to highlight trends? Spot outliers? Show relationships? Spell it out in the <Goal> section.

  3. Tailor to the Audience: A visual for execs looks very different from one for a dev team—describe the viewer’s needs.

  4. Choose Your Output Format: You could go light (Mermaid/ASCII), advanced (Python), or web-friendly (Chart.js)—or mix it up.

  5. Request Iteration: Want an alternate visual or design style? Ask for variations.

Here’s the prompt:

Act as a data visualization expert. Your task is to analyze the dataset provided below and generate compelling visual representations that clearly communicate key insights. Follow these steps:

Analyze the data to identify major trends, comparisons, correlations, or anomalies.

Recommend the most effective visual format for each insight (e.g., bar chart, pie chart, scatter plot, timeline, heatmap, flowchart, Sankey diagram, etc.).

Explain the purpose and takeaway of each visual—what should the viewer learn or notice?

Generate the visuals using one or more of the following formats based on need and complexity:

Quick insight: Text-based diagram using Mermaid.js or ASCII

High-quality output: Python code using matplotlib, seaborn, or plotly

For web dashboards: Chart.js-ready structure

Input Format:

<Data> [Insert structured data — a small table, CSV snippet, or descriptive summary]

<Goal> [State what you want the visuals to highlight—e.g., trends, comparisons, outliers, key metrics] </Goal>

<Audience> [Describe the viewer—e.g., internal team, executives, general public, educators, etc.] </Audience>
