xAI, has leveled up with a brand-new standalone iOS app for Grok, its chatbot that, until now, was exclusive to X (formerly Twitter) users.

But guess what? The Grok party has officially opened its doors to more of us and for free!

If you’re in the U.S., Australia, India, or a few other lucky places, you can finally get in on the action.

So, what does this app bring to the table? Honestly, a lot.

Grok is designed to be “truthful, useful, and curious,” which sounds like a humble brag, but it delivers.

You can throw it questions, have it summarize those painfully long paragraphs, rewrite texts, or even create stunning images from your prompts.

And the best part? It doesn’t just recycle outdated info. Grok taps into real-time data from X and the web, keeping its responses as fresh as your Twitter feed (minus the chaos, hopefully).

And if you’re not into apps, No biggie.

xAI is working on a Grok.com website so you can chat with it right from your browser. For now, the site’s still sporting a big “coming soon” sign, but hey, good things come to those who wait, right?

According to the company, It’s big on photorealism and has minimal restrictions, meaning you can create images of public figures or even dip into copyrighted material. Basically, if you can imagine it, Grok will bring it to life.

What if your morning news came as a personalized podcast tailored to your interests? Google’s experimental Daily Listen feature promises to do just that!

Google is testing an exciting AI tool that transforms your Search and Discover feed history into a short, custom podcast.

This feature is now rolling out to Andriod and iOS users in the US via Google’s Search Labs, as reported by 9to5Google, and works similarly to the Audio Overviews feature in Google’s NotebookLM project.

Here's how it works:

Daily Listen taps into your past searches and interactions on the Discover feed to curate content tailored to your interests.

Think of it as your very own news anchor, summarizing articles into bite-sized, approximately five-minute audio overviews.

And the best part?

You’ll get a text transcript and audio scrubber controls to easily play, pause, mute, rewind, or skip.

Once you opt into this feature via Search Labs, you’ll find Daily Listen displayed on your personalized widget carousel right under the search bar in the Google app. 

Plus, a "Related stories" tab at the bottom of the audio player makes it simple to dive into more content you’ll likely love.

And if that isn't enough, you can even voice your opinion on each story with a thumbs up or down, helping refine future episodes!

While there’s no word yet on when it will be available to everyone, the success of similar features like Google’s AI Search Overviews gives us hope that Daily Listen may soon become a go-to for all of us news junkies.
