🤝 YouTube Tests New AI Tool with Creators

The tool will help creators automatically dub their videos in different languages.

It is currently available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese but there are plans to include more languages like Hindi and Bahasa Indonesian in the future.

YouTube is currently testing the tool with hundreds of creators and plans to open it to all creators soon.

We can bet top dollar that this is exciting news for creators! 😃

Before this collab came along, creators had to go through a tedious and expensive process of partnering with third-party dubbing providers.

But now, they can dub videos at no additional cost.💃

YouTube is also working on enhancing the translated audio tracks to sound like the creator's voice, with improved expression, lip sync, emotion transfer, and lip reanimation using generative AI technology.

🤯 Midjourney Unveils Zoom-Out Feature for AI-Generated Images!

Midjourney has released version 5.2 of its AI-powered image synthesis model.

The new version introduces a "zoom-out" feature that expands the borders of an AI-generated image while keeping the original subject centred, simulating zooming out with a camera lens.

But unfortunately, this feature only works on images generated within Midjourney.

The Version 5.2 update is also packed with more goodies – there’s an overhauled aesthetic system for better image quality, an improved "--stylize" command that influences the realism of the images and much more. (See here).

Users have been raving about Midjourney's visual enhancements, describing them as "stunning" and "mindblowing."

But not everyone's a fan.😞

Some artists remain sceptical about AI-powered image synthesis due to concerns about training data sources and the lack of artist consultation or credit.

While some progress has been made in addressing these concerns, such as Adobe's Firefly project, achieving a more ethical path forward for AI-powered image synthesis.

🎾 Wimbledon introduces AI-powered Commentary!

Wimbledon and IBM are joining forces to bring you a unique tennis experience this year!

The All England Club will provide AI-generated audio commentary and captions for online highlight videos through IBM's Watson AI platform.

Not only will the AI provide commentary, but it will also analyze the single’s draws and determine just how favourable a player's path to the final might be.

And the best part?

IBM said the move was a step towards generating AI commentary on full matches.

It seems this is just the beginning of greater things to come.😃

The service will be available on the Wimbledon app and website, separate from the BBC’s coverage for the 3 July-16 July tournament.
