Welcome Automaters!
Imagine going toe-to-toe with a robot only to get absolutely smoked at your own job.
Well, that just happened. Let’s just say… there’s a new medical genius in town.
Here's what we have for you today
🩺 AI Outsmarts Doctors in High-Stakes Test

This might be hard to digest, but Microsoft just ran a test where its AI system—Microsoft AI Diagnostic Orchestrator—went head-to-head with real doctors... and mopped the floor with them.
Here’s what went down:
Microsoft tested the system on 304 real-life medical cases sourced from the New England Journal of Medicine.
The AI had to diagnose each case like a real doc: ordering tests, asking follow-up questions, and narrowing things down step by step.
They paired it with different LLMs from OpenAI, Meta, Anthropic, and Google. But when it teamed up with OpenAI’s latest model (o3), that’s when the magic happened:
The system nailed 85.5% of the diagnoses.
And the human doctors? Brace yourself.
21 experienced physicians—all with 5 to 20 years of clinical work under their belts—only managed 20% accuracy on average.
Granted, they weren’t allowed to use tools they normally would—like books, coworkers, or AI—but still… that gap was wild.
And get this: the AI didn’t just beat the doctors—it did it faster and cheaper.
In Microsoft’s report:
The AI was significantly more cost-efficient. Which, if you’ve ever seen a U.S. hospital bill, is... kinda a big deal.
Up to 25% of U.S. healthcare spending is considered wasteful, and hey—Microsoft thinks AI could help trim that fat.
Mustafa Suleyman, head of Microsoft AI (and ex-Google DeepMind co-founder), called this a big leap toward “medical superintelligence.”
And he made it clear: these weren’t basic-level cases. They were some of the hardest, most complex ones doctors ever face. So yeah… the AI didn’t just pass—it aced the final exam with no notes.
So… is your next doctor gonna be a chatbot?
Not quite. Because no matter how impressive AI gets, empathy, ethics, and human judgment still matter a lot.
Even Microsoft agrees: this isn’t about replacing your doctor with a robot It’s about AI working alongside real clinicians—handling the medical detective work, while humans bring the heart, nuance, and trust.
And let’s not forget: diagnosing is just one piece of the job. There’s still plenty AI can’t do (yet)… but it can make a doctor’s life a whole lot easier.
Bottom line:
AI’s getting scary good at playing doctor—but for now, it’s more of a sidekick than a solo act. Just don’t be surprised if your next check-up involves a chatbot who knows way more.
But here’s the real question: Would you trust an AI with your life? Would you want it making the call on your treatment plan?
Might wanna read the full report before answering that one.

🤖 Cloudflare Flips the Script on AI Scraping

You know how AI companies have been gobbling up web content like it's an all-you-can-eat buffet—without giving much (or anything) back to the folks who actually created it?
Yeah... Cloudflare’s officially over it.
They just launched a new marketplace called Pay per Crawl — and yup, it’s exactly what it sounds like.
AI companies will now have to pay every time their bots crawl a website for data.
Here’s how it works (and why it’s kinda genius):
Website publishers are finally in control. They can now:
Charge a micropayment per crawl
Let AI bots in for free (if they’re feeling generous)
Or slam the door shut entirely

Oh, and Cloudflare plays middleman. They’ll handle the money, manage permissions, and keep things running smoothly. No crypto involved… yet. But they’re flirting with the idea of launching their own stablecoin.
And get this: Big-name publishers like TIME, Conde Nast, and The Atlantic are already on board. Plus, going forward, all new websites hosted on Cloudflare will automatically block AI crawlers by default unless the site owner decides otherwise.
Why does this matter?
Well, the numbers Cloudflare dropped are totally insane—if you go by their own data:
Google’s crawler hits a site 14x for every 1 referral
OpenAI? 1,700x
Anthropic?? 73,000x 😳
Translation? AI companies are taking way more than they’re giving.
And with AI agents now doing the "searching" for users, traditional traffic is drying up. Publishers are freaking out, lawsuits are flying, and the old-school business model is circling the drain.
Sure, some licensing deals are happening — but so far? Only the big dogs are cashing in. That’s exactly why Cloudflare’s stepping in: They’re trying to create a system where any publisher, big or small, can get a fair shake.
And yeah, it’s still an experiment for now...But if this takes off? It could be the new business model that saves online publishing from the AI black hole.
Now, will this actually work? Still TBD.
According to CNBC, OpenAI already declined to participate when Cloudflare previewed its plan to block AI crawlers by default—arguing that the content delivery network was inserting itself as a middleman.
But one thing’s clear: if anyone can strong-arm the ecosystem into a fairer model, it’s probably Cloudflare, given that they handle about 16% of global internet traffic (per their own 2023 report).
Bottom line: Cloudflare just drew a line in the sand—and for the first time in a while, publishers might actually have a bit of leverage.
Curious how it all works or want in on the experiment?

🤖 ChatGPT Prompt Of The Day: Personalized Lesson Generator Prompt
Whether you're teaching 6-year-olds about shapes or high schoolers about climate change, having a lesson plan tailored to your students' needs can make all the difference. This powerful prompt turns any topic into a ready-to-use, personalized lesson—complete with content, activities, and adaptations for different learning levels.
It’s like having a co-teacher who’s always prepared, creative, and tuned in to your students’ abilities.
Here’s How to Use This Prompt Effectively:
Be Clear and Detailed: Don’t just say "Math – Fractions"—add context like “introduction to basic fractions for 3rd graders.”
Mention the Goal: If there's a broader theme (e.g., teamwork, critical thinking), include it for better alignment.
Think Differentiation: Use the simplified and enriched version to support diverse learning needs in your classroom.
Request Variations: Want a game instead of a group activity? Or a story instead of an analogy? Ask!
Mention Any Constraints: If you're short on time, say so. If you need no-tech options, add that too.
Pro tip: This isn’t one-and-done. You can run the prompt again with new topics or levels to create full units over time.
Here’s the prompt:
Act as a personalized lesson planner for teachers. When I provide a subject and topic, please do the following:
Suggest clear and achievable lesson objectives based on the age/grade level of the students.
Create one core lesson plan, and include:
--A simplified version for students who need extra support
--An enriched version for advanced learners or fast finishers
Write one short, customized teaching aid related to the topic (e.g., a relatable analogy, short story, real-world explanation, or mini-lecture)
Propose two interactive or collaborative classroom activities that reinforce the lessons core concept—these could include games, discussions, role-plays, peer teaching, etc.
If relevant, tie the activities or lesson back to a broader teaching theme or goal (like creativity, problem-solving, or collaboration).
Optionally: Provide tips for assessing student understanding during or after the lesson
Bonus: Suggest relevant materials, tools, or props if helpful
